I am not trying to be rude or beat a dead horse, but you unmount it, install the app, and THEN remount the SD card right? I have just seen people try to unmount, remount, and then try and install the app. The SD card has to be unmounted when you go to install the app.

It's all good! Just gotta give you $hit!!

Ok now I know I'm a 46 yr old gray haired rom junkie however I'm a little confused because I've left the card unmounted in order to install more app's so what will happen if i just leave the card unmounted? Everything seems to be working as usual I'm still able to access everything that is on my card so what does it actually do?

And if this is beating a dead horse than excuse me while I keep hitting it......

That does suck indeed. Sorry Mark. Actually the kernel I'm using is one I put together by pulling the zImage out of Calkulin's FD24 rom and repackaging it to make it flashable. Several of us were running it on Agat's Roms. The OP of the link I posted said his was the same as my zip but maybe not. I've flashed many zips with Calkulin's kernel. Haven't tried it with Auto Updater yet but I prefer to flash the update zips manually anyway. I guess I'll go back to FD02 to flash zips from now on just to be safe. Sorry again
Ah, no worries. Wouldn't know if I haven't tried. It didn't take too long to set everything back up, so it's no big deal. Yeah I always do it manually, especially if it's multiple ZIPs being flashed.

For whoever was wondering, I have the directory set to /mnt/sdcard/eternal_sd/ROM Updater (after creating the folder). Keeps everything nice and organized, plus I have a 32GB SD Card.

You just would not have an sdcard. You do not need the sdcard for anything but more storage. My Boss never has an sdcard in his phone.

Ruj, I just flashed this so pardon my ignorance. I can't get the market to see any of my paid apps even after syncing my google account. I even tried clearing market cache and data but still no go. am i missing something?

You can't find the applications or it doesn't say it's been purchased? It always showed my paid applications, even after re-flashing the ROM a few times. Before they're installed, they should be in the "All" tab.

You could also try installing them through your PC on the "Play" tab once signed into your Google account.

I can find the applications in the play store but it does not recognize them as being purchased under my account. I tried to clear the Market data and signed in a second time but still the same issue. IDK what's up.

I've had this happen inconsistently thru flashing different roms. I have a slightly older version of the play store on my sd card and after I installed that my purchased apps would show again.

Sorry but I'm on my phone now so I can't post the link. Maybe someone here has a different play store apk they can post or try googling it.

Like I said though, try installing a different apk of the play store and that should do the trick.

As RJ said, you would just not have any extra storage. However you should be able to remount the SD card now and not have anymore issues installing apps.

Loosing 180 that is just weird it is a framework hack. So not really sure what you did there, it has nothing to do with the kernel. and CWM is always gone on that kernel.

Also I just updated the statusbar mods. there is now no battery and center clock as options.

RJ I just looked in the status bar mods section and didn't see the no battery and Center clock.
Maybe I'm missing something?

If they don't show up manually check for an update then exit the updater and go back in. Sometimes I need to do that to get it to refresh.

Ok.... things are wonky now.... When I hit status bar mods it shows lockscreen mods, when I hit modems, it shows fixes. etc.
I'll just do a reboot and give it a few..... just seemed weird.

Okay just went back in and things are good now.
Sorry bout that and thanks again.

Ok so I think the ROM is finally at a point where every one can test it and help me find any little issues that still exist. I will be working on it again all night tonight, I hope to have the public beta out tonight or tomorrow at the latest. :good:

Honestly..... If Ruj makes a Jelly Kuban I would be forced to hang on to my Epic for a while and skip the S4. But I know he is a busy man ;)

Sent from my SPH-D710 using XDA

If ha, it is happening :D. Although I am 98% sure the S4 is going to be my next phone.

Team Blackout, well aite, you got some heavy hitters down with you. Makes sense, best of the best coming together to be. Just another sign that you are one incredibly special DEV. Kudos, Invert for everyone

Yeah it will save us all time, and get some of the best inverters all sharing ideas and edits. :good:

Been working on the JB build all weekend, had to do errands with the wife today so it will be a little longer. :(
