I'm on v6.1.17 as well and the Androidmeda rom tool is working as flawlessly as always. Since I have no idea why your problem arose, I can only suggest a nandroid restore of a working backup or fresh install...

When could we expect new relese? :)
This or next week maybe?

Please stop bothering the devs like this with useless ETA requests, ICS version will be out when it's ready, until then don't you think they have better to do than playing Nostradamus with people that don't respect their engagement for the community and deny the fact that they could have a personal life ?

Every time you ask for an ETA, a baby panda is killed, please save the pandas ! :D

Hey guys. I am well aware that ICS is not perfect and developing takes time. I am not asking when you're releasing a new ROM. I used your ROM on HD2 and your GB ROM on SGS 2 from day 1. However. AOKP seems to be dominating right now due to it's speed, stability and customisation. Would you guys please consider even just raising a poll to see how many users want AOKP vs Samsung. I mean no offence and I understand that your development is second to none. That's why I haven't bothered asking anybody else. If someone was going to make the perfect AOKP ROM it would be you.

Please consider the poll

Thanks for your time

Here comes captain obvious.
Oh dear, you like pandas? Tell me about how you help them every day.

So I didn't ask specific date. I was wondering if it would be soon. If it's too hard for some developer to come here and say it won't be soon, we have still lot of work.. blah blah or someone could just say, coming soon, maybe next week, this month, won't bee until next month, we'll try to finish it before next month blah blah blah....
It's been awhile since last release. Why I'm not allowed to ask 6-7 weeks later if there is new release coming soon? Why's there always some fool with bunch of blah blah posts?

try to remember that they don't owe you anything, obvious again, don't bother telling me, so why shall people always have to forget that point ...

but if you want to discuss on it, I will be more than happy to do it with you by PM

Guys relax. A new release will arrive eventually. We are currently doing stuff we didn't do last 8 months, which is live our life's :).
Everyone deserves a bit of a break, and we saw the transition between gb and ics our opportunitty to look away from the screen and get a little balance into our life's.
Remember we have been doing 3 devices roms & kernels for the last 3 yrs :), and pongster the last 4 yrs.
From winmo to android sd roms with dual boot, nand roms, native android devices, jumping across htc & Samsung, open source and stock firmware modding, themes, recoveries, etc, etc, etc.

I have flashed stock ice and quite frankly, v6 or v7 gb is better ;).

We will update eventually, why? Cause we cannot stop. But first things come first, family and work are a MUST, then our hobbies :)
Anyhow, thanks.for your.loyalty wand comprehension, and try to keep this thread about Rom support and not flame wars between each others ok?.
Cheers.

rom :change every week!

I knew someone will see the joke in it ^^

my concern is even going further, I have stopped involving in development and communities because of people not respecting the work done, unable to enjoy what we gave them and always asking for more, and to respect delays they choose for us. that is why I may have been a little too far, sorry.

Hyperdroid devs are veterans now, and I don't think they'll get easily disgusted by users' behavior, but the less we could do is trying to respect the time they have given to us and let them live and dev the way they want.

Yeah, we are like.....meh

Rofl

Let us regather our tools, rejoin our schedules, but then we will ask for your help for testing it, since testing takes multiple devices under multiple environments to make sure it works.

    Special Mention to the following:
To my mates at the HyperDroid Dev Team: (who help me test and refine the features of our kernel for our ROM)

Arighi (for the initial guidance on how to get the kernel booting and working & a lot of battery driven patches)
D.O.C. (formerly doctorcete) (for the friendship and being an example of diplomacy in dealing with usual ****storm of questions from users who refuse to search and read) :)
AF974(for the Overcome based Recovery that's so bad ass I want to stay in recovery)
petsasj (for his great work on HyperDroidParts and all future Apps that are just pure awesomesauce!)
sicopat (for letting us use his server and helping us out with a lot of things smali)
s2d4 (for testing everything at the risk of the potentially time sucking Soft Brick... especially since we use a Mac)

This new Kernel has no need for any other tweaks as we've tweaked it based on extensive testing over the past several months... based on best practices for our specific hardware. (Huge props to s2d4 for his extensive testing to the point of breaking... we took the risk of breaking our devices so you won't have too... fully tested tweaks here!)
