It's been reported on and off, but there's something wrong with where the ROMs are hosted. The download stops every minute or so...

Did you include data, when you restored your apps? If so, that's the source of your FC's.

Nope. I hadn't even gotten to the point of restoring anything. This basically happened "straight out of the box". Either way, v1 is working great for me

Or just disable notification on the stock app.

LG Optimus G E971

Gonna be honest, I don't have the paid version of TiB so I can't freeze :p

And yeah, I disabled the notification for it. It's working fine but it just seems like a temporary fix.

Heh I rarely pay for apps as well but I paid for tibu pro.

Rom Toolbox Pro is one of about 7 apps I've actually paid for in the last 2 years. And ya, best 3$ I've spent in a looong time. I think its the only 3 bucks I've spent that wasn't used to purchase something that's helping contribute to my hereditary acquisition of diabetes like chips and candy, haha.

What's the best app to use to underclock down to whatever it was at before the speedboost and screen brightness fix? What was the CPU clock set at anyway before the fix? With this fix, the screen is great but my battery is draining fast! I liked it as it was before the tweak. Would have such a long battery life before. Any help would be appreciated :)

I usually only pay for system related apps, only just recently purchased TiB (I'm a bad boy, used the pirate for a long time). Regarding purchasing apps, I usually will always pay for themes and other apps more tied to system functions. SetCPU, voltage control, sixaxis controller, launchers, etc.

EDIT: Juicedefender Ultimate, my first app purchase. (You are better off not using it and toggling the data yourself. Most phones will not benefit from constant toggling of data.

Im trying to install the debloated canadian rogers version. I tired v .3 and the intl release and i keep getting installation aborted, status 1. I did replace and rename the build.prop file with the rogers one using 7zip. Im using the cwm recovery recommended in the OP and wiped everything. Is there something im missing? Im coming from 4.0.4 pre-update unlocked and rooted.

Thanks for any help.

I'm about as cheap as it gets, when it comes to buying apps, but I will say that paying for the pro version of TiBu is the best money that I've ever spent on an app.

I've actually paid for a few apps. Some games (which I barely play anymore), Beautiful Widgets, FreeGee (more like a donation), Double Twist, Nova Launcher, and I think some others. Only reason I never paid for TiB is because I never really felt like I needed the full version. I always uninstalled apps rather than freeze (which is probably stupid of me).

Also, when restoring apps from TiB using the batch restore, do you guys have to click "install" after each one? Or does it do it all at once without confirmation for each app? That'd be a good justification for buying the full.

FYI - On ATT V2, The dialer FCs every time you hit dial. You can answer calls without issue, but cannot place calls. I had to go back to V1.

You only click once in TiBu Paid. It's really worth it.

All at once my good sir. Press the check mark button and let it do its thing. It takes like 2 minutes, probably less, to restore my some 80 apps

These are my results after diverting back to pre-thermal fix. That's more like it! Lol.

I removed the thermal fix that brought the CPU back up to 1512mhz and allows the screen to go to 100%. Before the fix, the CPU would max out at 1128mhz (although I've seen mine hit max without the fix), and the screen brightness would not go past 63%.

The weird part is that after I applied the fix, even if I underclocked and lowered brightness to even 50%, my battery was still a good 20-30% worse than before. And since I put the original thermal file back in place, I'm back to where I was, which is great! lol

Could you upload the original thermal file? I'd like to test it out, and see if it improves my battery life as well.

I guess I can assume that when I was making the roms and it always stuck for me was cause I already had mine all setup properly for all the phones I was flashing..

I'll make flashable zips for you guys. I need the build.prop from an ATT the someone has changed and worked..
I'll do the same for Rogers and Telus

and for SaskTel, someone can send me their build prop.. I am very busy working on aosp we have a bunch of merges and hopefully having fixed a bunch of things.

It has been time comsuming trying to please every variant. SnowLeopard is gonna work on things here on for ATT to maybe finalized everything for you guys since I don't own an att.. I've been building these roms blind and been trying as much as I can so you all can enjoy what LG should be giving us already. Please be patient and just report fixes and certain bugs.. just please search and don't double post bugs we already know as I hate cluttering up this thread..

As for Sprint.. I know I didn't post in your fourms.. I just didn't want to take any attention away from whatever is going on over there. I don't frequent sprint and att forums. Please let me know of all your findings of bugs so I can further provide you with a better release. It's hard working blind.

There's been a few requests for the LG Backup App so I took it from the International version and made a CWM zip.
Fair warning - this is the first time I did anything like this so feel free to backup before applying it, but its just a file copy and I installed it without problem on my OG running the debloated version.... or you can just take the .apk and .odex files out of the zip and manually copy them to the /system/app folder and reboot.

I also extracted the apks for Polaris Office, the super awesome Quick Translator, and the dictionary for the translator (i think?), which were also requested at some point.
