Thank you for this. I knew franco did something different. I was searching for that. I'll add it.
I'd thank you but I'm currently out
It should tell you what files are causing errors... power something.so?
You first must flash the stock kernel.
Follow C2a then A or B depending on stock or custom recovery

Great work El Daddy!
I've linked to this thread in the 101 thread.
I have to step away from the computer, but basically they should flash the system image along with the boot image. Some kernels (like franco for example) change a file or two in /system. So easiest way would be to re-flash the system. Or go in and revert the file(s) back. Can't recall the name of the files at the moment. Thanks efrant. Maybe you can stick around and answer some of the kernel related questions. It's not my strong suit. It seems like some custom kernel remnants are sticking.
Was there a radio update included? I'm not so sure because the file was listed as radio.img.p instead of the usual image file.
If there's not I was thinking of just jumping ship and going straight for the latest codefireX
I was on stock, rooted with TWRP recovery. I used adb sideload to install the update, but forgot to reinstall supersu before rebooting. Now my recovery is the stock recovery. How can I get root back?
Hopefully someone can help... I've been using a modified YouTube.apk which I unistalled and re-installed the stock YouTube from the market and moved it into system/app, otherwise I'm stock/rooted with CM, but the install still fails with the Status 7 error and it's mentioning the YouTube.apk in system/app, so I'm assuming that is the culprit. Maybe someone can post their youtube.apk from system/app for me to try
fastboot flash a custom recovery, then flash the SU.zip in linked in B4
