Keyboard lag

I haven't had this problem up until today but for some reason I am having the most slowest painful lag on my keyboard. Is anyone else having this problem?

samsung's keyboard is laggy...use google's stock keyboard or something else.

Turn off the swype and it'll go away.

there are probably a dozen reasons why the Google keyboard is better, lagging key presses is just one of them.
