Two questions for anybody

1 . Rootbox or PA?

2. Tried an AOKP/CM rom before on my note 2 and the camera, camcorder and gallery were laggy and sometimes fc'd. Any alternatives that work better?

That was asked 3 pages back, just a few hours ago.

Also I'm not a fan of ROM comparisons, try them both for yourself.

Ive been trying to break away from the Touchwiz based stuff and want a rom that will have a strong backing and great support thru the forums. I tried AOKP jb-mr1 last night and the camera camcorder galley were all laggy. I see you work on PA and Rootbox and wanted to see from the thread what experiences people had between PA and Rootbox

They are both great. It's all personal preference. You will be hard pressed to make a choice once you try both. I have my choice. Flash both and make your choice.

Anybody else notice that their screen wake seems like there is a longer delay than previous builds, almost 2 seconds 90% of the time using the power or home button since last build?

I agree that there is a delay in both screen wake and screen close but it was also on the last ROM for me

Seems faster to me.

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Note II

I don't know if anyone else noticed this (could just be me) but I was getting the occasional "YouTube has stopped" message, when I wasn't seeing that the screen did take a bit of time to wake - Just to see I froze youtube & the screen wakes instantly...... Like I said - maybe just me (yes I cleared data and cache in youtube ;)).
Give it a try and see if it makes any difference for you? Can't hurt :)

    Description

Vanilla RootBox is built straight from RootBox sources and always carries a very light installation with no extra/useless apps. This means, you can enjoy a pure Android experience combined with AOKP/CM features and some CM cherry-picks. Keep in mind Jelly Bean is only at the beginning stage of development and there will be minor bugs. Every RootBox releases are stable and always up to the challenge for a daily usage. I personally have a high standard when it comes to releases and this is why this project always meets the expectations of users. If you're wondering how this ROM differs from any other AOKP roms out there, I only have one thing to say: Try it yourself and choose the one that meets your requirements.

You should use TWRP and always wipe system and factory reset!

I just spoke with bajee, I told him yesterday that I was going to need a 1-2 days break so he added the device to the building bot, while you guys are free to use which ever builds you want, mine are built with PUB while his are not.

I will still continue making builds, I just want to be able to enjoy my phone as well.
