It's the same version I have now and I only downloaded it last night so not sure why it's giving me this error. I've even tried downloading it again and I downloaded the Universal version that works on multiple HTC devices including the HTC One Mini which is what I'm on now.

That is a rumrunner server problem, you can try contacting them.

You're probably better off using sunshine to get s-off.

So far I tried revone and got error 1, rumrunner and got this and then tried firewater and got bye bye error. I'll have a look at sunshine now and probably try it and reply how it goes, thanks.

Went to look at sunshine and it's $25? what..

I haven't run rumrunner using Ubuntu live cd, but i have booted my computer to Ubuntu using live cd and gotten adb and fastboot working. It's worth a shot because it totally bypasses any windows firewall, anti-virus and driver issues you might have. And really all it costs you is a little bit of time and the cost of one blank DVD.

Here's how i got Ubuntu live cd to work:
Go here for Ubuntu download and instructions on booting to live cd
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD

These instructions (http://www.webupd8.org/2012/08/insta...oid-tools.html) work, but before you follow them you have to change a setting in Ubuntu.

Click on the setting icon in the upper right, then select system settings.
In the System section, select Software & Updates
Place a Check in the box next to Community-maintained free and open-source software (universe)
Then Close system settings

Then, open terminal (click the "search your computer and online sources" icon in the top left and type "terminal")

Then paste the three commands from the above link one at a time into terminal
>sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
>sudo apt-get update
>sudo apt-get install android-tools-adb android-tools-fastboot

You may be prompted to press Y to install.

Once the install is complete, fastboot and adb should work.

it's a little stinky here, hmm....

bottles are packed, here we go, shhhhhh....

hmm, cap is on tighter than I expected........
hell, that damn cap is on REALLY tight.......
unfortunately this isn't going to work out with your configuration. you have 2 options:
1.) flash an unsecure kernel that's compatible with your ROM and retry rumrunner (preferred and most reliable method).
2.) flash a different rom.
NOTE: No amount of messing around with su binaries and apk's is going to fix this issue for you!!!.
Better luck next time!!!!bye
