i always check if it worked on x8 or not then only i confirm it
here are the sreen shot

it really works, but notification icons are small. its a bit annoying but manageable. :D

# oh guys, is the default frequencies on light sensor level the best settings? or it is better to change it?

*Why is it that when nAa posts some update we all rejoice? hihihi. thanks for making X8 Community alive nAa. Its very much appreciated. Keep it up! :D

Since the release of minicm 3.0.0
i have installed the rom getting excited by the features and looks,

removed it again because it was sluggish,

flashed it again seeing fixes about better performance by other members,

Removed it again experiencing no change at all,

again flashed, Removed, Flashed.......

Then i stopped, and flashed primehd and was quite happy with it

I started reading the fixes rather than blindly using then, Searched the web to see if i could actually needed zRam and other stuff

Finally i felt to give ICS one final try, i flashed, used the selected fixes and let me tell u,

i was never this impressed by myself :D

Read on to see wat i used:

I wiped Data, Dalvik Cache, System

Installed the 3.0.1 and ics gapps

flashed this

then turned on my phone

basic setup

installed some apps i need

In root explorer i deleted all apps and services i did not need

I deleted gTalk, Radio, Live wallpapers, the default launcher, torch, Movie editor etc

restarted and flashed srs fix by my pal Rohin

then i went to setting, Disabled google location

Disabled Zram, Unticked purging of assets and kernel samepage merging

min cpu was 320, max 768 and governor SMARTASS v2

unticked surface dithering

WARNING: In some earlier post i did recommend to use supercharger, I take it back, I ruins your battery life and does not give much performance

then i installed swapper2 and made a swap size of 256mb, Swapiness 20% and in the root of my sd card (NOT AND EXT)

Using this since 2 days and best experience till yet!

SOME NOTABLE CHANGES

-No waiting for apps to open
-Launcher does not take more than 4 secs to redraw (WORST CASE SCENARIO)
-Nice amount of free ram
-Able to play some game(I could not even launch them before)
-can boast ICS without getting insulted that it is so damn slow

All the above fixes are what i used, Dont like it? I dont care

Use it if you feel like, No one forcing you,

But if you use and get some notable changes,

Think of pressing that Thanks button ................................................................................................. Right Here--|

I tried to wipe battery stats...I did, and since I turned on the phone, it reboots everytime I press Home button.I tried to restore from a previous backup and it still does it.
Anyone?

I also wiped.
And it even does it when it's on kernel bootanimation...

    MiniCM9 Visuals

    MiniCM9 Theme:

MiniCM9 theme, is the valid successor for MiniCM6 and MiniCM7 legacy.
It is designed as close as possible to the original specs of ICS, in order to be a lightweight, beautiful alternative to the stock theme. However it is tweaked in several parts of the UI, in order to fit better to x8's device's screen.

    Screenshots:

    Changelog:

    Code:

    -themed Contacts/dialer
-themed/redesigned status bar icons (Bigger and sharper, especially on the LDPI res)
-themed Playstore (Small details in order to fit the theme)
-themed Torch (also fixed on LDPI)

    Tips to make things faster

    * You want to overclock as much as you device can handle. ICS requires more juice to run.
    * Remove / Freeze system apps that you don't need, especially DSP Manager
    * Install only apps that you need, don't bloat your system
    * Consider using a swap partition / file if you got a fast sdcard. Swap will give more memory for the hungry ICS to consume
    * Using Zram (Compcache) and KSM is also suggested as they will give you a tad more RAM for your apps. Note that they might also reduce battery life since they require CPU cycles.
    * Trebuchet is beautiful but a bit on the laggy side yet. Consider installing another launcher from the market like Apex.

Don't report bugs if you are using thirdparty tools that claim to be boosting the performance (Supercharger, RAM Manager, etc.)
