DarthStalker X.

Pros:
  • Stable
  • Stock Variant with Stock Kernel
  • Great battery life
  • Smooth UI
  • Loads of added features including WiFi and USB tethering
  • Working WiFi Calling
  • Available mods including Galaxy Note II Camera, Volume/No Volume wake.
  • BlackNight's MotoMoto00 theme for T-Mobile S3

Cons:
  • No multi-window but such a small issue (really don't miss it).

Aokp 4.2 goodies : smooth, easily themable , does not use much ram , love to be able to do a quick reply from the status bar , great camera , everything is perfect except one thing : battery life could be better... And also incall volume very low..

DarthStalker X as well!

Pro's:
Ink Effect on ripple lock screen(Personal favorite of mine :)
Most stable ROM I've flashed on the S3, literally no bugs that I've seen and I've been using Darthstalker since V8.
TouchWiz, so it keeps all the cool S3 features like flip over to mute, hold up to your ear while texting to call, S Beam, etc.
Awesome Dev with consistent development. Can't say enough about that!

Con's:
No multi window(which I realize doesn't matter, but I still want it to shove it in my friends' faces :)

Is T-Mobile pushing alerts to our phone now? I have no news apps on my phone.. My phone just started going off like a fire alarm, and when I picked it up I had an Amber Alert on my screen with a description of the child and vehicle. I turned on the news and there it was, so it is not spam. I personally think this is awesome, but I had no idea that anything like it existed.

Re: SGH-T999 Galaxy S III Chat Thread!

Been doing that for a while now actually. I got an alert last summer (right when I got the phone) for a monsoon and dangerous flood coming in. When in reality it was .5 inches of rain, good 'ol AZ. Haven't seen anything like that with AOSP though.

Craziness.. I've never seen anything like it before today. I guess we learn something new every day!

Definitely do. I was surprised when I got it. Didn't even know it was my phone I was at a bar and some dude nudged me and told me to answer my phone lol. I believe you can turn them off through settings.

You're just using your phone more lol. I had better battery life on stock 4.2.1 Illusion, then 4.2.2 Liquid Illusion.... but with a custom kernel and playing with settings I'm seeing better battery on 4.2.2 now. I suggest getting a custom kernel and playing with settings until you find a sweet spot.

Hello guys! As most of you guys can see, I'm new around here, just got my S III couple days ago.

We have a thread like this in the HTC Glacier Forums, where users can come together and discuss life, or any other off topic related subjects.

+1. If they want to shove ads in our faces, they should create a free version for that. It's not cool to charge for an app and include ads.

Yeah not cool at all... And it was in my favorite topic section too... I cant remove it. I was like wtf is this. Like towle stated... We paid for this app... Ads are unacceptable
