I tried it this morning. So far, I am 93% when I would normally be in the 70%'s by now (5 hours). I am impressed.
wow, I've gone through 10% in about an hour.
A little surfing, online with Tapatalk, pulse... And down to 90%.
How do I get your duration?

I did not cycle the battery, but I still have 88% left and I have been using the device normally. The FD change seems to have done something to save significant battery. I have no idea why or how, but it was a suggestion worth trying.
Lockscreen rotation = missing widgets
Been using the HYFR 4 for a few days and must say its amazing.
Only thing I noticed is the lockscreen rotates when in landscape.....then when i put it back in portrait and unlock it, a few widgets are missing and I have to keep re-adding them.

Thanks Suzook it really helped alot!! Now the only problem I have is the phone keeps losing the bluetooth sync ever now and then.(on ford sync)

Almost forgot I went to ATT today to get a battery and they were out of them. The Att guy told me if you call 1-800-801-1101 they would give a free battery if you have problems with poor battery life. I called them and a free battery is on the way!

hmm not sure what the bt issue might be.
Another update. I am now at 15%. It was off the charger at just after 8am yesterday. Have about 40% of the battery used for voice and the rest between gmail, and other app plus screen. So I havent babied it but havent had it full tilt all the time either.
I suspect I can wind it down to full drain by midnight. That will mean roughly 40 hours of total battery time

Working on charging it up after draining it down and adding that code into build.prop... I guess we'll see what the outcome is on my end...

I just flashed both my Bell i717 and my wife's Bell i717. What an AMAZING rom. Thanks to all involved. Curiously my Instagram installed from the Play Store no problem, however when my wife clicked on it it says "Sorry your device is not compatible with this version". Anyone have any idea what could be the difference on her device?
<I also searched and found a lot of posts about using QuickPic for the wallpapers. It worked great for my main wallpaper, but it gives me an error when I try to do the lock screen. It says something like "Please use QuickPic" but I am IN QuickPic when I get the error...> Nevermind, it works now.
<Finally, in my apps drawer I see "Memo" (with the S Memo icon), "S Memo", and "S Note". Are these all included on the S3 or will Samsung compile them into one app? I had a similar problem before: it turned out that I had too many devices registered. This was due to multiple flashing of ROMs. So the resolution was: I had to delete a number of devices associated with my account. (although they were all the same one).

This Rom comes shipped as is..iv went ahead and added a couple of neat features here and there. Not much just yet but i am still learning. I believe the touchwiz deserves a chance so i added TW from S3.
It does work and it is fast. Widgets also work
This Rom runs off a base and is constantly updated with fixes found around the forums. I believe this is how a rom should be, Stock. And so do othe forum members.
I dont think of myself as a developer nor am i one.
Alot more updates to come and ill try to listen to all of you as much as i can.

This is my first ever ROM
So what comes in it exactly you ask?
- Stock, Rooted, Deodexed
- TouchWiz Launcher from S3 is default
- Debloated (more to come)

- busybox installed, symlinked
- Latest UCLE2 Modem

Instructions:
1. Download to sdcard
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Data wipe/factory reset *REQUIRED*
4. Flash ROM
5. Reboot and Enjoy

1. Did you do a full wipe?? If not, please do.

I swore I would never post in this jokers thread again, but since at this point, I'm throwing my 2 cents in.
This isn't basically my ROM, it is EXACTLY ALL my base ROM. As per XDA policy, you should always ask permission and give proper credit when using someone elses work. Two things kifac didn't do. It wasn't until I pulled his ROM down and checked it out that I realized this was my ROM with a bunch of other peoples work slapped all over it.
Him basically taking full credit at that point.
I got no credit in the OP or even acknowledged that this was and still is based on my ROM until I confronted him. Even then he wanted to argue with me about it until I threatened to report him. Only then did he give credit.
At that point he gave credit. Communication stopped between us.
Then he started promising a new base to work from. Instead of contacting me directly to ask for help, which I still would have given him, he sent someone else to ask for help. You never got a new base because they couldn't follow simple instructions. They would have had a new base to work with after ucle2 had they listened and exercised some patience. They could never get their new base to even boot properly. All the while his updates were just him slapping more peoples stuff in the ROM and calling it bug fixes and updates. There is no development whatsoever going on here from kifac.
paleh0rse did the phmod which is how this should have been done and did it tastefully and respectfully.
kifac is a winzip developer and nothing more. He unzips other peoples work and calls it his own. You have all been had. As bigfau said, you all bought him a new phone just so he could leave you hanging. You got no new base ROM because him and his team couldn't even get it to boot, then new device and vacation time. Funny how that works.

I come from the inspire/dhd threads and there is tons of people doing Ports just like this. if you go to DHD thread you will see about 5 sense 4 roms on the base and even a awesome port of virtuous. I just don't see why people are talking for the devs if you really find this unuseful to you then save you're breath. If you like this this then sit back and enjoy the ride it has a great base from Flapjaxx. This is a new Dev give him time to learn I'm most positive that he will keep adding new things. I know he's working on this. Just stop complaining you guys will make it more difficult to bring new Devs around here cuz they will get scared of criticism.
