Is there a way to get the dalvik cache onto the ext partition?
In the cm version 4.4 i can put apps and the cache on sd ext with the small tool s2e and i have huge space left.
On 3.9 i have 4 MB left after installing all my apps and i always have the low space icon in my status bar.

I really like MildWild ROM but I prefear the stock Android in the launcher. So is it possible to change the launcher icons? I didn't fand something in the UOT kitchen.

If you activated the SD-EXT function in settings>applications the Dalvik cache will follow the apk, so if you install the app on ext, the Dalvik will be on ext, otherwise will be on internal; you can move your apps in the application manager of the app itself or decide before installing it in the application destination menu under settings>applications

i don't know what swap is used for, pretty sure it's unnecessary for this rom. if you've always skipped it, and never had problems then keep it that way. i've never used it myself.

Did it.. Marvelous, both 4Ext recovery and this 3.9v of Mildwild.. without the bugs found in previous version, dont have any problem with SD-Ext like other people reported, so my definitions for others that may benifit are:

Ext4 1024
Swap (skip)
SD-Ext (have to reboot to make effect.. first time didnt work until rebooted)

Great work on this ROM, smooth as silk ;)

If find any bug will report

Thanks for your answer.
The problem is, i had activated the sd ext option and had chosen sd ext as install destination.
Instead of this, i had very less space left.
On 4.4 no problem.
Thats why i thought, the dalvik cache has left on internal space.
So my problem has to be anything else.

I reinstalled 3.9 now and activated sd-ext and chose it as install destination. After every option i did a reboot.
Its still not enough space left to install all my apps.
On sd ext theres still 750 mb free space and 7 mb on internal, under cm 4.4 left 600 mb on sd ext and about 30 mb on internal.

Great ROM but have one problem. Problem are hardware buttons-sometimes there is no light on hardware buttons. Does anybidy know how to fix this issue? Great ROM

You restored the apps from a backup? Have you tried to move the apps manually to SD-ext from the applications manager?

yes. nandroid backup, change hboot (i recommend fastboot commands), boot back into recovery and restore.

make sure you verify the md5 sums of any hboots before you flash them!

nandroid backup will not backup the hboot. you can dowload the stock hboot from alpharev as well if you need to go back (may need to flash bravo_downgrade before though can't remember)

Hey Mildwild, other guys, I'm currently thinking of giving this a try, how would you compare GPS performance to the CM version? The other 2 points that I would like to hear about are battery life and browser? Is battery better and browser not so smooth as in CM? Thx alot for your answers!

    MildWild V-4.5.0 is on the way. this will be my last Oxygen Based rom!
    I started with Oxygen 1.0... I end with Oxygen 4.5.0 no roalex Update in the last rom.
    my last rom is my best rom:cool:60% more speed..etc
    some will hate me for it..sorry my time is over..big thanks @ all It was a very cool time
