For some reason even tho youtube has been fully buffered it lags on certain bits. A tiny lag but can be quite annoying. Anyone experience this?

i got this too.i'm on stock 4.4.2 uk . same thing happens when playing vids in mxplayer.i also got lag in some games.have tried factory reset,did not fix it.am currently deciding on which custom rom to flash.

I have the some issue with art enabled. Switch back to dalvik solves lagging.

I am on dalvik.its really laggy now.im either gonna flash custom kk or stock jb.

I'm on the latest Mahdi rom; no issues with youtube, plex, or mx player.

What you mean by clearing data.i have tried a factory reset.im on stock,no root,no recovery.

A factory reset should clear data and cache, so I don't think that's it. How long have you had the tablet? Are you on 4.2 or 4.4 stock?

had the g pad for 2 months now.was on stock 4.2.2,no lags then,very smooth.decided to update to 4.4.2.initially was very snappy,but had lag on video playback.so,tried a factory reset.now its even worst,lagging on games as well.

Only two things I can think of trying:
1) Go back to your original stock using LG tool
2) Try a custom ROM

Right I cleared app data uninstalled and reinstalled then didn't load YouTube/ movies for a few hours. VIOLA like magic it seemed absolutely fine.... Not rooted completey stock... Maybe this will help?

So you dont have lag issues with video playback with mxplayer or other players, just youtube.i tried to restore with lg tools last night,didnt fix it.looks like only option is to flash a custom rom.
