Screen coming on during charging

When I plug my phone into the charger it will vibrate and the screen will come on. It will keep doing this every few minutes. Mostly it's with after market chargers but occasionally it happens with the original.
I've tried a reset and installing apps one at a time but I've been unable to narrow it down.

Anyone else having this issue?

Screen coming up when charger plugged in at beggining is normal but after every few minutes that I dont know why. Did you check settings?

I had the same last year.
After market charger mostly are crap. Charging overload and then charging stops. After a time they'll start charging again and your display come up. That's normal for some cheap chargers.

Same with a original charger that is not working correctly. My was broken. I buyed a new one and everything was fine.
I use for Galaxy Note (all types) only original charger. Home and car!
If you buy after market charger, make sure that's a real 2 AH charging output and good brand.

My recommendation, don't save money on wrong place.
China crap can also damage your Phone!
