Battery life is even better as GB
After a few hours of heavy usage still 60% left
Installed this. Time in the top left corner is formated like this %-l:%3%^p. Setup Wizard closes, facebook closes and i have now got a black screen after setup wizard
my bugs dat i found:
can open browser but cant search/surf get an error
market has a few bugs but after clear data reboot its fine
cannot enable "unknown sources" its nowhere to be found
search button doesn't work
never tried the games yet but everything else seems fine though
just wen keiran releases da kernel the important things to me atleast has issues with this rom aaaarrrgggggggggggggg
Couldn't reboot into recovery from Fastboot as my phone kept going into charging mode instead. Had to flash back to stock and lost my root access
Screw it. When the official update goes live I'm just gonna wait till a Xperia Play ICS stock based ROM is released.
Happy it worked for everyone elsee though
Sent from my R800i using xda premium
I had that problem with Recovery at first. The trick is when you hear the phone reboot, unplug the usb cable. I believe the volume key down was what ended up getting me into Recovery.
So netizenmt did you get this to work on your Verizon R800x? I would imagine its in the same boat as the ICS beta where calls are nor working....
My problem with Recovery was with the Sony Beta, but I would imagine it would be the same solution.
I'm going to give this ROM a look tonight, but like you, if I can't make/receive calls, it doesn't do me any good.
I am using the just released GSM/CDMA DooMKernel with this ROM and it works awesome and we have root and recvery... this ROM is sweet....flashed the GAPPS and Face unlock and the CDMA, which I know hasnt been working perfect... going to see how it performs
This is a nice ROM but just the home screen transitions, while they are very smooth and fluid I think the ICS Beta from Sony might be faster... also Calls and Wifi are not working on my phone, I flashed a couple different wifi files from DooMLord but nothing works... dang..
K, wifi works now... I was flashing the wrong DooMLord wifi file... now its time to see about calls....
nope, not yet....
Yep that's where I am too. That and the time on the screen, which I can fix if I make it a 24 hr clock, but bleh!
You and me both.... same exact place with our phones..... Dont worry though... Im confident in the Devs here......itll happen in time.... and by time I mean like any minute...... kidding but no they are awesome here
==Installation instructions==
Important! Only for unlocked bootloader
Sony recommended to flash the ICS rom only if you are on .62 firmware with .64 baseband, but in Neo and Arc forum there are users with other basebands and a working rom (with minor problems mostly)
- Copy KA13_Ice_Cream_Sony_Play.zip to the root of your sd-card
- First download the kernel of your choice
- rename it to boot.img and place it in the same folder as your fastboot files
- Open a command window in the same folder and type: Fastboot flash boot boot.img => Flash the ICS kernel
- [stock kernel] hotboot any custom kernel: Fastboot boot boot.img => boot into ICS custom kernel
- Boot your phone into recovery
- Wipe Data/Factory Reset, Wipe Cache and Advanced => Wipe Dalvik Cache
- Flash zip from sdcard and flash the rom
- Reboot your phone and enjoy

==KA14 Ice Cream Sony [in the next week]==
- Based on Sony 4.0.4 Sources from Ray/Neo/Arc firmware .431
- Optimized tweaks
- Fixed SystemUI no statusbar and no wallpaper problem (GSM only)
- Deodexed
Sorry buddy, but cant you just search the thread for that? I posted a fix for that some weeks ago, just use the search and be happy .
I'm in my exams now and also developping for 2012 line. We have 2 phones of Xperia 2012 line here now and I'm putting too much time in XDA so I'm sorry to announce I'm going to quit the Xperia 2011 devices very soon.
Thanks for understanding,
