ok, got everything except wifi working in 15 minutes:)

what works:
boots
bluetooth
data
calls
sms
sensors
gamepad (didn't test touchpads)
good battery life
i think faster then gb

going to try to fix wifi later today:)
then i am going to upload it in my sony beta thread:)

Thats realy great to hear :). Are the Cameras working (even Video recording)? Which Kernel do you use?

camara works good:) (didn't test video recording, will do when @home)

Thats great to hear! I just got my Rom booting aswell just now!:) Most stuff is working but it has a few hiccups. What rom is yours based on? And would you mind if I took at few things from your ported rom to use on mine?

Me too! :D

It's so fun coming from the X10 and see the development with that device being so big in scale with much ROMs to choose from, and now moving to Play and see that the ICS is really worked on from the devs as well, just as it was with the X10, and even more tweaking and scirpting-options with this device as it was bootloader-unlockable from the first start :)

On X10, we just had a way to go around the bootloader which was less effective in my opinion, but now-days I don't know if they did get the bootloader to work even more effective and not just pass it :p

So this is indeed fun to hear that we can get a ICS-version that is faster than GB was in your opinion nickholtus and I can nearly not wait until you get the Wifi working, and it will be really great indeed I believe, and to see the Sonys framework as well in the ROM is a real nice touch :D

Haha i thought it was kind of funny, but yh that would be helpful if i could use it for fixes, which phone is yours ported from? Also im having troubles getting sin2img work how can i extract the sin from an ftf file?

Also when will you be uploading your rom?

But that ext2explore is for looking at partitions not extracting the actual Img out of the sin file because when i use unyaffs or sin2img i keep get crashes whilst using windows 7. I dont have access to linux at the moment, could someone get me a nandroid backup of the stock official ICS from xperia arc not ftf files.

    DEVELOPMENT HAS NOW STOPPED FOR THIS ROM AS GOING FOR A JOG THIS MORNING I HAVE DROPPED MY PHONE WHEN IT FELL OUT OF MY SHORTS POCKET AND CRACKED MY SCREEN ALSO MY HEADPHONE JACK IS BROKEN AS THE HEADPHONE JACK FOROM MY HEADPHONES SNAPPED INSIDE THE PORT!!............. AHHHHH NEW SCREEN IS COSTING ME £45 AND I DONT HAVE NO MONEY SO UNTIL I CAN GET ENOUGH MONEY TOGETHER THERE IS NO MORE DEVELOPMENT ON THIS ROM OR JELLYBEAN.

    Here is my rom which I give to you.
    This is my first rom which I have created so I am looking forward to the feedback provided and hope to make more roms to come, I will love to have your feedback and would like for you to let me know about any problems and I will attempt to fix them asap.

    I will be frequently updating this rom by adding customisation, tweaks and optimization as well as bug fixes.

    It is a ported rom which is from the Xperia Arc and based on the Official ICS 4.0.4 release from the Xperia Arc, However files have been taken out of the Xperia Ray Official 4.0.4 build as some parts were not working when I ported the rom so its about 60% Arc and 40% Ray however I will start to fix these things to make it 100% Arc :D

    -Firstly Flash DooMLoRDs ICS Beta Kernel via fastboot
    -Boot the phone into recovery
    -Perform a Factory Reset

    Will be releasing full touchpad fix soon as a flashable zip just compiling the fix and should be done tomorrow.

    Give it around 3 minutes on first boot and about 5 minutes of usage to settle in as it will be slow for the first few minutes but after should work flawlessy!

    Working more on JellyBean now to get that onto our device so ICS won't be updated as often maybe every week it will get an update!
