I present to you my ROM by. It was developed for use on HTC Dream. It's one of the fastest ROMs for my phone. Few people have tested this ROM on Sapphire and I heard from them mainly positive feedback, so I decided to place it in this section. I dont have and even never held in my hands HTC Magic (or Sapphire - i dont know difference).

First boot takes up to 10 minutes. Be patient!
After installation go to S2E, mark "download cache" and reboot. It will let you download files bigger than 1,5mb from market. You need ext partition to do this.

thread in Dream section: http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1305181

Do not download non-xda version!

FontPack contains:
DroidSansArabic.ttf
DroidSansFallback.ttf
DroidSansHebrew.ttf
DroidSansJapanese.ttf
DroidSansMono.ttf
DroidSansThai.ttf
DroidSerif-Bold.ttf
DroidSerif-BoldItalic.ttf
DroidSerif-Italic.ttf
DroidSerif-Regular.ttf

download:
http://www.mediafire.com/?m6qf9dkh7dhe3
If you're going to flash FontPack, use Recovery_Patch_FONTPACK_banana4444.zip

If you want launcher pro looking like ics launcher, go to menu>preferences>restore backup

installation:
#1: Download and put files to you sdcard
#2: Flash Recovery_Patch_banana4444.zip (phone will automatically reboot into recovery; superwipe included)
#3: Flash ROM: BananaBread_v5.0_xda.zip
#4: Flash CameraRecorder_fix-banana4444.zip
#5: Flash kernel: auto-boot-2.6.35.14-farmatito-pershoot_banana4444.zip (recommended)
#6: Reboot and wait about 10 minutes

If you don't want to use cMTD don't flash Recovery_Patch

ROM has builded in kernel ezgb 1.5

/system - 67mb, or 74 with fontpack
/cache - 3mb

Requirements:
3.22 or 2.22 radio
Ra-sapphire recovery

To disable swap, type it in terminal emulator:
Code:
su
swappy off

gapps and many useful apps are included in rom
dpi default - 160

default settings in cm settings/performance:
CPU: ondemand/245mhz/528mhz
Compcache RAM Usage - 0
JIT - off
surface dithering - off

You should probably be a little more detailed in your requirements.
If this is the same as the rom in the g1 section, it should work on 2.22 and 3.22 radios with most spls

Some magic owner told me, that it works on 3.22 radio (every ds rom), so i wrote it here
I changed to "old radio", is now ok?

always good to see some new stuff in the old htc magic corner :)
i'm willing to give it a shot, but i would like some feedback from magic users before i test it, i'm very happy with my current rom but it's android 2.2 version.
but thank you for sharing it with us, in the first place!

great rom so far, it takes quite some time to first boot as advertised, but other than that it's fast, light on battery and great, using on 32A 3.22 radio btw.

just one question, is there some way to know for sure if i'm using swap partition? I did the 25Swap thing, but I don't see any recognizable difference, maybe there's something I'm missing :)

hi banana,
does this rom have vocpcm module built in? (or can you see any /dev/voc* files)
seems that CM7.2.0 added that module, but I'm not sure
basically I want to find a rom for my HTC Magic that supports rVoix...

Looks really nice.

I currently have a stock build for my T-Mobile MyTouch 3G (SAPP300 - 32B)

Base: Default 3.12.531.1
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-27237-gbe746fb
Build: 2.2.1 (FRG83D)
Radio: 2.22.28.25
HBoot: 1.33.0013

Do I just need to follow your steps or do I need to do something before that.

I'm being cautious right now. I've already bricked a 32A with another build.

thanks

I'm having problems downloading some apps (namely Dropbox and Google Goggles). I have "Download cache" enabled and I do believe I have an ext partition.

The download starts but quickly disappears as if nothing had happened.

Is there a way I can make sure that I have an ext partition? I made one in recovery mode.

Quick question. What is the difference between "BananaBread_v2.5free.zip" and "BananaBread_v2.5.zip"? thanks

First of all thanks Banana4444 for the awesome ROM :D However I found a bug, I enabled voice and video chat on gtalk. When somebody call me or I call somebody it simply force closes. Unable to take a screenshot :( sorry, a noob here dont know how to report a bug :( Guide me with it please

If it helps, I explained how to create a log file in an earlier post. http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=31588477&postcount=99

As for taking a screenshot, hold down the power button until you get the Phone options menu and then tap Screenshot. (If there's an easier way, I definitely don't know it. Anyone?)

Hope that helps ya out in helping the dev out!
