I got fc when selecting widget with copying to system/app

While I didn't even bother to check what the link posted was, as I am in a hurry, did you run fix permissions after moving it the /system/app?

If those are honeycomb widgets (judging by the title of the other thread), I would not at all be surprised if they didn't rely on a higher sdk version than what is available on the NT right now. You'll probably have to wait for CM9.
