Re: [ROM] CyanogenMod 10.1 - WILD FOR THE NIGHT - Feb. 8, 2013

Anybody else having problems with freezing widgets with CyanogenMod 10.1? I noticed my power amp and foursquare widget freezes. I found a temporary solution but its kind of annoying. I have to change my font size. They work again for a few hrs then freezes again then I have to change the font again. I just go back and forth from large to normal. Weird. Any permanent solution?

I've been running Feb 8 since it came out. I've been on n off my phone all day since 5am - my battery was 41% at 3pm. I'm beyond impressed with Feb 8. Previous builds would leave me at 10% by 3pm.

I was about to post a similar post with screenshots. I believe what's going on, for most intents and purposes, is a combination of users confusing aging batteries and a general set of unrealistic expectations for a OEM 1800mah batteries pushing the GSII's horsepower, with a problem specific to the ROM.

I now own five batteries for this device (3 OEM and 2 Anker) and there is a stark difference, not only between the Anker vs OEM, but also between the oldest OEM and the newest. On the whole, this ROM is pushing up on a 10/10 imo.

I think that I just need to get a new battery. No matter what release I am on, I get some pretty bad battery life. A full charge before bed, and the phone is dead by the morning.

Guys i made a new Mod that will hide the status bar while still making it transparent and usuable.. Please take a look.

This mod will be flashed with this rom only because its not universial yet, and will hide status bar and no longer take up space but you can still swyppe down to see your notifications.

As u can probably see I am new to this site.... Hence all the questions. Well this is my last one for now I hope. On my epic 4g I used foxfi then svtp for WiFi but since I rooted and installed CyanogenMod 10.1 those no longer work. Anybody know of one that does work? I've searched but found nothing so far

Does not work on 4.2.1

私のエピック4Gのタッチから送られてきた。

Thanks dastin. I heard/read that Google supposedly fixed the Bluetooth stack issues, that were introduced with 4.2.1, in the 4.2.2 release.
Looking forward to 4.2.2 getting merged into CM 10 and also looking forward to a new release of this great ROM - which I am running since a few weeks (always the latest release) and the only issues that remain are the Bluetooth A2DP ones (choppy audio; no metadata) - everything else (phone, SMS/MMS, GPS, camera, ... ) just works for me. My battery drain is OK; certainly not worse than with the stock ROM.

Thanks again for all your great work!

No Internet Connection

OK,,,so I know I'm not the smartest one around and trying to root was a little nerve wracking,,,but I digress,,,,why would this mod not let me have an internet connection. I can talk and text but no internet,,,any clues?

I bought two anker batteries. My life is still crap if I actually use the device... Even if I have a few apps installed the only way to get it to last all day is to turn the freaking radios off....

My last phone (evo shift lol) would last all day with radios on with push sync enabled for Gmail and exchange... With a smaller battery.

There is no winning for me here.. The only way to get through the day is to use ds battery saver to turn off my freaking radios and only have it wake up once every hour. On top of cpu sleeper and exits tweaks...

On touchwiz however, battery life is markedly improved. I give up as bbs and gsam do not show a single thing out of the ordinary... Fml

anyone

Does any one else have LOS and a problem getting MMS. For some reason once I upgraded to the newest release I stop getting ALL pictures (well I get some but like two days later) and random LOS to the point of having to use airplane mode on then off to bring it back. I tried using temp EL26 to update prl and profile but that didnt help. I switch back to a TW based rom and every thing is working again. If I can tomorrow I will reflash and see if I cant log the issue but for now I wanted to get this out there see if any one else noticed it or am i just that luck one.

Tw doesn't have Google now as has been said a million times before. Go to maps and set location reporting to manual or disabled Google Now before comparing battery life to tw... As has been said a million times before for people who don't know how to read.
