I just received my battery today in the mail and put it in ASAP and it had 60% juice and now I'm down to 8 percent.

I'm running CM 7.2 RC I have 2 hours 58 minutes of screen time running at 1200mhz max and 200mhz minimum, 4 email accounts syncing every half hour, facebook syncing every half hour, 42 minutes of web browsing, texting and 35 minutes of phone calls. Data has been on at all times as well. Miscellaneous gaming here and there as well, Draw Something free, Hanging with Friends, Angry Birds Rio.

The phone actually feels right now, not too skinny anymore and perfectly balanced, I am just trying to find a case for it that doesn't ruin it. Everyone in their right minds should buy this ASAP! It's definitely better than switching 1650mah batteries every so often. I think if I can get easily 2 days out of the stock battery, I wonder what the 2000mah one is capable of!

Plain and simple this battery is kick ass and well worth the price.

How do you adjust synchronization interval? I'm using ics remix rom :)

For which app are you trying to change the sync frequency for? Email? Facebook? Just go into the apps settings brotha, it's in there somewhere. Try to be specific so I can help you out more efficiently my friend.

Facebook Gmail and whatsapp. Can't find any settings under app management. Only options to force stop and clear data. No options under accounts and sync either :/

Anyone got this official extended battery for the white S2? I heard the white back-cover for this battery doesn't fit the phone well.<br />

I was planning to buy the white S2 if the price drops a little, but this fact may give me a reason to think very carefully about the purchase.<br />

The white official extended battery does not fit well on the upper right side (if the back is facing you)

Thanks a lot for your answer. How can this be possible? I mean, isn't Samsung aware of this?

And also, are there any "tricks" or ways to fix this and make the white back cover fit correctly?

So many of you seem to think that a heavier phone is a sign of quality. Yeah, maybe 50 years ago.

All that a heavier phone does for me is increase its momentum when hitting the floor.

I like light electronics. They are expensive to replace.

So I received my battery yesterday, completely drained it and put on charge overnight, woke up and wiped battery seats and ran the battery calibration app for good measure, so from 100% at 7:30am til now 10:10pm I still have 19% of battery left :D Very happy indeed considering I used the phone a lot including the use of MiCoach for 2hrs20mins :thumbup:

Definitely worth the purchase, wonder if the battery will be used better after a couple more cycles?

Practicality should have trumped being the "thinnest". RAZR MAXX is a good thing, maybe Samsung will try and make a superphone with the longest lasting battery instead of going thinner. Sometimes thin isn't better.

Bought it and using it for a while now.
Im noticing way more screen on time after using the original battery for a year.

Anyone here believe the battery isn't as good on ICS?

I could achieve 5 hours screen time and approx 2 dys and a few hours on GB.

I currently use Hydrog3n ROM with Netchips stock kernel, heavily tweaked and I got:

Screen Time: 2 hours 26 Mins

Battery is now at 36%

Seems a bit poor doesn't it?

I got more than 4.5 hours with stock battery.. now I'm getting 6.5 hours lol. Your CPU config is probably not right

    Soo my extended battery finally arrived. It is genuine samsung battery that comes with new backplate. The battery is a little bit thicker so it makes the phone 1mm thicker. On the other hand it hides and protects the camera lens, it feels better in the hand and its cheap, only 23 euro ! Without further talking Pictures: (I will add pictures of the kit with the phone later cause my sister took my digital camera and as you know, the phone cant take pictures of itself :p Though Im going to try some troll mirror technology later today :D

    So as you can see its genuine samsung battery, Doesnt add too much bulk, its high quality, just what I wanted. I wanted bigger battery but I hate those ugly bulky cheap plastic batteries.

    Battery life results will be availible later, because I just bought the battery 10 minutes ago :D Ill do both "normal phone usage" comparisons and also 100-0 screen on 100perecnt cpu load tests.

    Edit: Also a little bonus which doesnt really show anything I didnt have time to play with the phone, Im still on my first charge cycle with some gameplay (around 45min) of dungeon defenders. The rate at which the percent drop is noticeably lower, also the phone doesnt get so hot which is a good thing.

    Well it seem I am getting a lot of PMs if I can buy and send them over. So Ive decided Ill go through with it I just hope I dont run into trouble with this so.

    If you are not able to buy one in you country or the date of the first batch is too far away (you have to take the shipping time into account) Drop me a pm (even if you already did, ive cleaned up my inbox.

    Ill make some tonight. My sister has my camera so I cant take them now, Though I must say it looks great, basically the thickness is only added where the original backplate was and now it matches with the thickness of the bottom part where the speaker is. It looks completely natural plus the camera lens is now deeper and doesnt stand out, so when you put your phone on a table the phone doesnt lie on the lens. And BTW the phone is still slimmer than SGS1
