I always have launchers installed and "home control" that runs in my notification bar.if the primary launcher fc,I can easily switch to a working one.saved me a couple of times.if u don't want this solution, then have a cwm flashable launcher on your sd.

I might be being really stupid here, but i can't seem to find a cwm that has yet to be released for the S3. Does that mean that this is useless until it has been developed?

I have rooted, but as said above by another user, i get rm failed permission denied for everything.

There has been CWM released, i've been using it for last 2 days. You're in dev forum check other threads in here and you'll find it.

The released cwm was removed again, because a banned xda member has worked on it, too. I have downloaded it during the time it was published, but now it is removed again, but I'm sure someone will post a new one in the next days.

If you cant find cwm try downloading busybox and su from the market and see what shakes then.

Does it let you choose which apps to delete and which to keep?

Otherwise, I wouldn't use this script. Apps such as Samsung Apps store, ChatON and Gmail shouldn't be removed as they're rather good... (Samsung Apps has good offers, ChatON is a nice alternative to Whatsapp ;) and Gmail.. it's obvious.)

Simply open the bat file with notepad and delete what you want to keep. There is a good tutorial in the op. You should be able to do that yourself its really basic stuff

Thanks alot for this, it seems Samsung added the exact same bloat as they did in the SGS2. The battery is great on this device even with bloat, can't imagine how good it will be without.

    WTF? What I`m doing wrong?

Before you use the script you have to mount the system in cwm.
If system is mounted the error message will not appear anymore!

I have around 300 MB of free RAM now, before I ran the script it was just about 60 MB - will remove even more manually :D

It does not work on my sgs3.

It just says "error: cant find device" and then "rm: cannot remove lalala" :)

    "
rm: can't remove '/system/app/DeepSea.odex': No such file or directory
rm: can't remove '/system/app/DigitalClock.apk': No such file or directory
    "
    And so on.

I have a screenshot but i cant post links here yet.

It is rooted, drivers seems to work fine, i have enabled USB debugging, it boots fine into CWM.
What do i need? What does CWM with adb mean?

    Thank you!
