Is there any chance to see an Automatic Backlight settings (similar to CM's) in 3.1?
It's kinda annoying to see the screen getting brighter but not dimmer.

but you will provide the 5 or something languages as before, right? i think it was german, spanish, french, italian? and english.

Dont worry, on ics, if wifi is on, only wifi is used, so if you would need to receive mms, you must turn off wifi so data can operate.

when my phone is charging and i go to see my gallery pics, seems very laggy and slowly ... when is unplug this no happend... i dont know is this happen only to me. anybody have the same problem?

Did you enable battery bar and its charging animation in ASS Settings? That thing almost halfen the processing power of your phone specially in graphic intense tasks (like games,benchmarks,... and the gallery you mentioned)

dude, can't you at least make a language pack? Really likes your rom, it awesome, but i think it's kind of hard to use it without my default language. Don't think it's just me. Going to try your 3.1 asap :) cheers

Just a add -on language pack would be nice. A flashable one of course.
Many users will appreciate it :)

Why not just add them yourselves? OP has made it pretty clear that he is only going to add and develop what he wants.

You guys should check the following thread out, the OP of the thread developed a tool to add language packs to roms and also explains how to do so manually on the second page.

I've noticed that this rom doesn't have an init.d folder. Is there any way that we can add that functionality/ if we flash a different kernel will it be implemented?

Edit: nevermind stupid question. for anybody else wondering you can enable it in ASS settings

    OUTDATED POST: Follow the first post link for detals.

    While there is no recovery image provided with v2.0, i recommend trying out the TWRP (everything touch screen) or CWM 5.0.2.3 ( better confirm menus)

    Just flash the above in recovery.

    Default is 182 DPI ( use 240 for any incompatible apps or check here for market workaround)

    Slim ICS:
    Fresh/Clean Installation Instructions:
    Pre-Requisites: need to have CWM recovery or TWRP recovery installed.
    • Enter Recovery
    • Recommended: do a nandroid back up
    • Wipe data/factory reset
    • optional: format system in mounts and storage for extra clean install
    • select slimICS_vX.X.X.zip to install and wait for it to finish
    • optional: select addon.zip and face_unlock.zip to install and wait for it to finish
    • reboot to system.

    Coming from another 4.0.3 Rom :
    • A simple wipe cache and Install the zip file should do it.

    Once rebooted, you will most likely see a blank screen. Press the soft menu key and preferences to customize you zeam launcher.

    • Fast Charge in Kernel and Controlled via ASS - thanks to chad0989 for FC patch - Turned off by default, take a look at this post for how it works.
    • Free Mem increase via kernel and device ( increase of about 40 MB) - thanks to Kali of CM team for source, i get about 200 MB free with 60 data apps installed, increase of about 50 MB.
    • Face book Sync
    • Nav Bar via ASS, turned off by default , turn it on via ASS( search and memu vritual keys are not transparent, other 3 are)
    • Calendar ( text ) in lockscreen, turned off by default again, turn it on via ASS.
    • Kernel Tweaks via ASS - thanks to AOKP for source - Don't enable fast charge in boot, if you do, it will cut off the data connection to pc.

    Guys, I have good and bad news for you.
    The good: krarvind is back from vacations and he is working on Slim JB for crespo. The bad: we will have to wait to the mid of the next week for the release (before Friday I hope).
