ROOT V10J (SPAIN) and DEODEXED

Download V10J (SPAIN) --> LINK
Download V10J Patch --> LINK

Flash with KDZ_FW_UPD.exe


HOW TO ROOT:

  • Extract patch_V10J_ROOT_DEODEX.zip -- use 7zip -- to C:\Patch V10J\System.img.ext4
  • Open folder C:\Patch V10J\System.img.ext4
  • Open folder C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\ (so you have 2 folder open in your desktop)
  • Activate USB Debugging then connect L7 to PC --> select PC Software (installed driver USB)
  • Run KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
    FB068.jpg
  • Wait untill KDZ creats new folder named \Phohe at C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone
  • It will show up 3 file on C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone
  • When system.img.ext4 reach 483MB put out from folder --> move to desktop
  • Then move system.img.ext4 from C:\Patch V10J\ --> C:\ProgramData\LGMOBILEAX\Phone\
    lIWE9.jpg
  • Wait untill KDZ finishing update, and reboot the pone
  • Done! ROOTED and DEODEXED! :)


PS: Tap 'Ok' when error LGKeyboard (bug) messege, install 3rd party keyboard.

Really appreciate if you have the script at least in english if you don't mind..coz I'm not sure about this google translate..thanks;)

Unfortunately after flashing new P705 v10f firmware..the root method doesn't work anymore after trying 5 times or more I even tried to use the original english script from Bin4ry..and not working...on the latest v10F firmware..:confused:

I am having the same problem as well with v10f.

@xorox
How you rooted your v10f with this script? Its not working. Its showing the same thing as jimhon has pointed.

XoroX, could you make a guide to make the patch our self?

BTW, root confirmed on V10J Spain using your patch and tutorial. My phone is P705, Indonesian version, no NFC, came stock with V10C. I had to install Superuser and Busybox from PlayStore manually.

i used the instructions form bgd thread to make the patch, you can find there, i forgot in what page.

Guys im desperate to get thi working. Ive installed the drivers but the computer still refuses to recognize the phone and install the drivers. And all i see in connectivity is charge only, media sync, usb tethering and PC software. Where is mass storage?

there is no mass storage, it use PC sotware to mount your sdcard on PC

I have P705 but the firmware i found is for P700 is it ok to flash P700 firmware on P705?
