[Q] Notification Delay in kitkat (4.4.2) anyone?

I have been suffering from notification delays that i get on my push messages ever since i moved from jb 4.3 to kk 4.4.2
already tried notification fixer app, but no good
I sometimes get messages as late as ~40 minutes
searched around for awhile now but with no clear solution
anyone else?

If you root 4.3 then you will not get messages.
