In the development section, there are a lot of ROMs, and I have no idea which one to try on my tab. Can anyone suggest one which is stable and preferably stock android UI?

The is no such thing as "best rom". It really depends on your likings and needs. The best way to decide what suits you better it to try many and decide by yourself.
