That makes no sense to use two apps when one has ALL THE FEATURES of the other and more. The app doesn't decide whether or not your phone is more stable on different voltages. It is the voltage and the voltage only. So use the recommended app *NSTOOLS* to do everything in swoop...

Yeah.. i know they do same work but i just feel like controlling voltage with voltage control is more stable to me. i don't know why.. for an example, i used to give 850 mv for 100 and 200 mhz on GB MIUI with voltage control app, and it was pretty stable. had no issue at all.. but had random reboots and sod, cod on ICS MIUI at the same voltage settings with nstools even tho i didn't oc at all. I had to give 925 mv for 100 and 200 mhz and 25 mv more for each other cpu steps to avoid those issues.
Therefore, i decided to try voltage control app again for UV and now i can give them lower voltage again with no issues so far(using 3 days so far).
i don't know if it is like that only for me but that's what i got.
Yeah.. i'm not a pro but just wanted to share my exp tho. :rolleyes:

Yahh I used to UV like crazy on GM MIUI. But this is ICS. There are more resources needed to keep the phone running. Which is why you can't UV as much... So I stand by my point.

ROM is very unstable. It works a week or more and after that phone is freezing on boot. Only FULL Wipe helps :(

Hope the new test version will make all the bugs and instability to disappear, we'll see.
I've been running the ROM for a week and don't have any of the problems reported except signal display bug, even Permission Manager was working for me, which is strange

My phone is stuck in a boot loop. I installed the rom, rebooted it. Installed some apps, restored Titanium back info, rebooted and it's stuck at the miui boot screen...

Just installed this rom today, MIUI theme manager seems to work perfect except it doesn't change the wallpapers that the theme has. Also when I go to set a pattern code, it use to be that I could have the regular lock screen and the pattern, but now it only shows the pattern. I don't know if that's a new feature, just checking.

Just curious if anbody can confirm, that this still works?

Thanks
Here's another little goody for this ROM. 4 way reboot mod.

Copy the android.policy.jar file to your sdcard then using ES explorer or whatever, copy that to /system/framework.
Backup your original android.policy.jar just in case you need it.

Using 7zip on Windows will make this pretty easy. Connect and mount your phone, then browse to MIUI/theme. Find the theme you want, copy it to your PC. Now right click on the theme, 7zip > open archive.

Double click com.android.contacts. (I found some themes you have to actually unzip first, 7zip would not let me browse com.android.contacts).

Once in com.android.contacts, browse to res > drawable-hdpi-finger. Copy all the png's from that folder to res > drawable-hdpi.

Now in drawable-hdpi, rename the following;

dialer_background.png to dialer_background.9.png
dialer_btn_call_normal.9.png to dialer_btn_call_normal.png
dialer_btn_call_pressed.9.png to dialer_btn_call_pressed.png

That will get you the basic theme like I attached. As you can see, spacing is slightly off, which is what I'm working on now.

bobbylx can you share the keyboard you worked on, on this post, as a cwm zip file?

After fix Permission Manager is working for me.
How it (freezing) happens:
1) the process com.miui.phone (name smth like this) is crashing (FC).
2) All processes start to crash (FC)
3) I reboot the phone and it's not booting (staying on MIUI logo).
4) After full Wipe it's booting but after some time (~ a week or lesss) it happens again.

I hope that new version will be better. Without this bug and with working ext SD while connected to PC and without network bug.

    v2.0 (Full ROM)
    http://android.gcfam.net/devs/NightShack0/weui/WeUI_v2.0_by_NightShack0.zip

    (Please donate as a thanks for the ROM and what I have done)

    To install properly and avoid any problem follow these steps:

    Coming from Gingerbread
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
    3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Data Wipe"
    4. Select "Install Now"
    5. Your device will reboot to recovery at the start of the installation (if you get a recovery bootloop or it doesn't reboot to recovery, do it manually)
    6. Open the WeUI zip file again from recovery
    7. The installation will continue where it left off and finish by itself
    8. Reboot

    Coming from another ICS ROM
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
    3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Data Wipe"
    4. Select "Install Now"
    5. Reboot

    Updating from older WeUI
    1. Reboot to recovery
    2. Open/flash the WeUI zip file you downloaded on recovery
    3. On the installer choose your device, and select "Cache Wipe" (if coming from certain old WeUI versions you will need Data Wipe)
    4. Install it
    5. Reboot

    720p recording isnt working for me! Why?!
    It should be working without any changes, but if you see this happen, flash http://xdaforums.com/showthread.php?t=1575485 and report that it didn't work at first.

    I found a bug or problem in your ROM, what should I do?
    Try to read the thread for possible solutions, and if you can't find anything, then post the problem without complaining and try to describe as much as you can the problem and when it happened, etc. Please use the "Report MIUI" option if you experience a force close which will open the "WeUI Feedback app" and it will automatically add the logcat information of that force close, but please describe your problem and don't just send the log. (Most logs will be ignored if you don't describe your problem)

    Some theme elements are not getting changed!!
    Right now only certain things work on themes like lockscreen, icons, etc. But other stuff doesn't get themed or doesn't look right, this is a thing that MIUI will fix in an upcoming release

    Why is there a Torch app? Galaxy S devices don't have a LED flash!
    I know there's no LED flash, but the Torch is not an app and can't be deleted that easily, it's on the System UI and can't figure out how to do it correctly

    An Update:
    The ROM hasn't stopped, I just gave myself some free time because I was really busy this last 2 weeks, v1.5 will come out soon, sorry for the delay
    15
    Alright then, I just started working again on this ROM today after quite some time (like 3 months) from where I left off on an unreleased v1.5 version which included some new stuff.

    I actually tried working on it a month ago but it didn't boot at all so I just abandoned it.

    Just got it booting and fixing some stuff and getting ready for new release, and hopefully getting back to constantly updating it :)

    No ETA, though.
    13
    Current problems with v2.0:
    -Camera FCing
    -Updater app needs to be configured
    -Browser Google search broken [MIUI problem, but fixable]

    As soon as I fix those I'll upload it... :p

    BTW, it's now multi-language
    11
    v0.9.5 (NEEDS Data wipe, if upgrading from older WeUI, back up your apps if you need to in the included "MIUI Backup" and your settings)

    * Updated to MIUI 2.4.6
    * Device detection in the installer
    * Many installer fixes/changes
    * Installing from Gingerbread now works (if you get a kernel bootloop, reboot to recovery and open again, it will continue where it left off)
    * Updated completely to Android 4.0.4
    * Binaries and other files updated to CM9 Nightly
    * Fix many problems from last version
    * Gmail, Exchange, and other FCs fixed
    * Updated Semaphore to latest 0.9.8 version (Captivate and Galaxy S) with the 720p recording patch
    * Updated Apex Launcher
    * Updated MI File Manager (fixes FTP FC and adds/fixes features)
    * Removed init.d script for low storage which caused slow launching of apps and other problems
    * Replaced keyboard with stock CM9 keyboard and removed unneeded Dictionary Pack
    * SuperSU ICON changed to Permission Manager
    * Vibrant kernel fix again
    * Fixed Vibrant GPS
    * Misc fixes/changes

    Been working on this update, sorry for being late but I was having some serious problems in the ROM because 2.4.6 changed some stuff on the ROM and also updating it to 4.0.4, etc.

    Will upload tomorrow
