Any clue on how to redo sdcard? Cwm can't find my backups.

Just use a file explorer like es. Move the CWM backups folder to the root of the sdcard.

No input from microphone

Firstly, thanks to sbrissen for the great work on this, and on the 4.1.2 ROM. It's much appreciated.

I am having one small problem. Coming from 4.1.2 Alpha3, I:

1. Rebooted into CWM
2. Flashed the new ROM
3. Flashed gapps 20121212
4. Wipe Data/Factory Reset
5. Wipe Cache
6. Rebooted.

There were lots of updates, etc. that got loaded. Everything looks great, except nothing seems to be getting any sound input from the mic. Google Now acts like it can't hear me. Sound recorder can't hear me. Sound output seems fine.

If I call my voice mail and say "Testing 1 2 3 4, testing 1 2 3 4" I do get a message that says:

tes... (silence)

I'm fairly new to smart phones and Android, and even newer to AOSP/CM, so feel free to assume I'm stupid, and that it's something silly that I'm overlooking. I've looked in setting->sound, DSP Manager, the launcher pull-down drawer, etc for a place where mic input level is set or muted. To no avail. I had no related problems with 4.1.2 Alpha3, which I've run since the day of its release. Any suggestions?

(Verizon SCH-i605, 16GB. But I suppose that goes without saying, in this thread.)

Update: I rechecked the voicemail that I sent. (The same one, not a new one.) And now I do hear the entire "Testing 1 2 3 4, testing 1 2 3 4" message. I had just switched from Verizon voice mail to Google voice mail, so maybe that was related. So in-call audio works. But that's the only microphone input that I've found to work.

I've lost cell service since I flashed this ROM. I rolled back to my old PAC Man clockwork backup and had the same problem. Now I've wiped and flashed back to a touchwiz ROM... still no service.

Is there a fix for this?

Fix here: http://xdaforums.com/showpost.php?p=36851473&postcount=40

I tried mucking with these settings in PAC Man and it didn't work. Thank Flying spaghetti monster it fixed it in VZW TW.

Edit: I've formatted system, data and flashed back to stock verizon TW and STILL have no service. If you haven't installed yet, I might hold off.
Go to mobile network settings. Is your network mode on lte/CDMA/evdo?

Disclaimer: I take no responsibility for bad things that may occur as a result of flashing this.

NOTE: JB 4.2 will move anything in /sdcard to /sdcard/0 on first boot. If you revert back to JB 4.1 you will have to manually move things back

These are Unofficial CM 10.1 builds for the Verizon Note 2 I605.

Thank you sbrissen for developing for this awesome device and all of our donaters who made it possible! None of this would have happened without you guys :)

You will lose S Pen and other Touchwiz functionality if you flash this but here is how you can get some of that functionality back! Thanks weehooherod2 for his tips!
    1. S Pen works (try out the app Papyrus as a replacement to S Note, Papyrus does utilize the S Pen button as well).
    2. Air View works (Go to settings, Language & input, check "Show icon when using stylus".
    3. The S Pen button works (Go to settings, Language & input, Stylus gestures, those all use the s pen button).
    4. Pop up browser = OverSkreen from the Google Play Store.
    5. I use the 4.2 Camera on Touchwiz anyway. There are plenty of good camera apps in the market if you want more features.
    6. Multiwindow, I don't know of an alternative. Onskreen's Cornerstone could surely do it!
And here's some alternatives to Touchwiz apps (PM me if you want me to add something!)
    Code:
    [URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.myboyfriendisageek.stickit"]Stick it! (Pop-up Player)[/URL]
[URL="https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clov4r.android.nil&hl=en"]MoboPlayer[/URL]- It's another very capable, free video player with floating player functionality. Plus its free!

DO NOT USE 20121011 GAPPS OR YOU WILL HAVE ISSUES, USE 20121212 GAPPS.

If you want to downgrade back to a 4.1.x ROM, flash the restore-sdcard-after-downgrade.zip attached below AFTER flashing back to 4.1.x ROM. Your storage situation will be how it was pre-CM10.1 flash. Thanks to madmack for the file.

These may be stupid questions, but i see that the at&t and t-mo versions of the GN2 are now in official nightly CM status. So what is the big difference between ours and theirs? Is there any way those versions, or pieces of them, can be ported to work on ours?
The difference is CDMA which means no it cant be ported. However, I'd say the VZW GNote 2 is pretty much ready for official merge. I think sbrissen is just waiting til he can merge Sprint and VZW at the same time.
