Hello all, I'd like to start by saying that this would not have been possible without the help of Lord, for his kernels, zFreak for the inspire fixes on ICS, and trh, for testing the ROM for me:) and dont forget dhharold for porting ICS IN THE FIRST PLACE!:)
And Synergy, for help with init.d B) Alienmind for ICEtools^^

Okay, now to the actual Rom, It's basically an ICS Beta build, that you all know and love, It features everything working (torch video etc)
EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
3D HW Acceleration
Camera

If you report something to me like, "Ohhh the gallery doesnt work" I will ignore it, becuase the Gallery REQUIRES 3D HW ACCELERATION.(same goes for google music)

I had reports from Trh that the build was actually smoother, and snappier than z's or Lords builds. If this is true for you drop a thanks or something :p Have fun! Hope you enjoy! :)

Got init.d working,
(Thanks to Synergy!!!:)
Made it a bit more smoother.
New HQ bootanimation, Thanks to EmprtArea

CHANGELOG FOR UPDATE 2;
-Fixed superuser crashing
--some minor speed enhances due to init.d scripts
---new Launcher from CM9, Thanks guys!

- fixed the su permissions being denied.
-Some build prop edits

TRH1341's Modified build prop, use adb to push it :) http://www.multiupload.com/G0USIBRW30 -this improves battery, and internet speeds.

ADB command to push would be this;
1. type into command prompt, adb remount with phone plugged in, USB debugging on
2. type adb push build.prop /system
3. hit enter, reboot.

EXAMPLE OF BATTERY LIFE WITH MODERATE USE;

Any reason for starting a new build? i mean there are two other people already who've release beta builds with minor fixes...why not wait for the real thing and then come up with fully working customized versions?

because the DHD community is so demanding. Im mainly trying to take the weight off the main devs here. and im fairly sure people want a faster working build. so thats what im providing. I do understand where you're coming from though :)

Any particular reason why this build is double the size of Lords, and almost double the size of zFr3aks?

What are the changes from zfreaks? Guessing apk compression changes? What is the base?
Maybe we could share some info. I have working init.d support (very helpful for performance scripts). If some of your tweaks use init.rc, then we can perhaps combine our knowledge.

I think its a good idea, you fine tuning this rom but you need to give us a little more information about the base or build (whatever you guys call it) you are using

I'm missing the calendar sync, anybody else?I have only browser, gmail and contacts.
Should i flash the fixed calendar gapps? Why? :)


also, root doesnt work. laggy. i cant seem to come upon a reason why you would start a separate thread for this.
lordclockan did a much better with his betas and he posted them inside of the ICS thread.

You're the only one, Everyone elses is running faster than lords or zs. Full wipe, Flash rom, gapps with fixed cal. boot.

    Just to let all know...there may be an update coming in the next couple of days that will need a full ext4 wipe because of the new base from lord...it will take some time because I am working on kernel and we have to totally re build all of our tweaks

    Cool story bro. The stuff I see in DHD thread really makes me happy that I picked an awesome phone...

    I suppose jcmaddox has every right in the world to post this ROM here, it doesn't really matter what he changed or didn't change. My opinion is based around this logic: Instead of fragmenting development - releasing multiple beta builds in multiple threads by different people that have the exact same problems - we should be focusing on the main goal, fully working, fully functional android 4.0 source for ace for everyone to work with and improve on.
    Maybe my logic is flawed?
