Running for 19h without power or keyboard plugged - I am extremely satisfied so far since
ICS led to a constant reboots. :D

Using the 1.0 kernel with Android revolution HD and wifi constantly on.

BTW : stupid question regarding Voodoo, you claim it works with it but I can't load it into the kernel, is it already included in the kernel?

Tried your kernel after SOD with test16. Same result. SOD after few hours.
ROM HD 3.2.1.

EDIT: Now seems to be OK with your 0.8 - so it is really looks like "new suspend code" introduced by guevor at test13 and at 1.0 by you seems to be not suitable for TF101G and/or with dock.
Also, I do not have 3G data with 0.8 (it was functioning with 1.0).

EDIT2: Can I try 0.9 ?

If you are using the new beta Voodoo from the Voodoo thread along with the paid Voodoo Plus license then it should work. I believe it is now more of a driver rewrite or modification and not dependent on loading a kernel module. I'm using it with Revolver 4 RC1 and it works fine, although it IS still beta. The way to tell if it is working is when you try to increase or decrease volume, at some point you should see an additional slider at the bottom of the screen related to headphone amplifier gain. Of course, this only happens with headphones plugged in and not on internal speaker sound.

If you are trying to use one of the old (Honeycomb based) Voodoo kernel modules, then you need to remove that module from your modules directory, as it will not work with ICS. It appears to be OK, other than complaining about kernel support, but will crash the system if you plug headphones in and try to change volume. You also need to remove the old Voodoo app if you are using the new beta driver and Voodoo Plus license, if it isn't removed already from the install of the new Voodoo.

So, in other words, you have to have the paid Voodoo Plus license along with downloading and installing the new beta driver for it to work and also you need a ROM that's based on stock from Asus, as I don't think it's working yet with AOSP builds.

I can really say that something is in this new suspend code with TF101G and dock. My tab sleeps fine with test 11b and TestyMeh 0.8 kernel (both released before this code change). Test 13 and > or 1.0 both produce SOD even with WAKE LOCK.

But the issue is that with guevor kernel I do not have CIFS and with 0.8 no 3g data.

It seems to be something with the way the kernel handles the /Removable folder, because I get the SOD with my external drive on USB as well, I did on this kernel and on Guevor's as well. No problems with other USB devices (my mouse works fine)

I fixed SD card problems by hitting the little remove/unmount button when you pull up the notification bar. Just unmount it when you're not using it and it doesn't SOD. I only got this problem twice when I found an old 2gig giant SD lying around and plugged it in. See if it helps.

I have d same problem with hd revolution. I have a sd in dock as well. Initially thought was o/c issue, but happens without o/c as well. Will try out your method. Thanks for sharing

This kernel aims to improve performance, while still maximizing stability (and getting rid of reboots and SODs). It's working on all ROMs so far, so here it is for your approval. It can overclock to 1704Mhz, but doesn't override your user limit. I've added SIO and Init.d support and some various tweaks, and rebased to the newest source. Next is more cpu governors and general tweaks. Thanks to Roach for his commits from github, and guevor for new suspend code to imitate.

Some ROMs use a different build config, so Use The Right Version Below! Please Wipe Cache in CWM before flashing.

Update 4/11/12: Added test version of Veno, read about it at: http://www.ie.cuhk.edu.hk/fileadmin/staff_upload/soung/Journal/J3.pdf1.0 is up for All testers. Voodoo should be supported, please report. Wifi has been tested on Stock/ARHD/Revolver/Megatron/CNA/AOKP, but please test with other ROMs. I'm trying to compile one kernel for all ROMs, but EOS is still separate. Mega props to Guevor for the new suspend code. I'm trying to implement it without directly copying him though, so I need testers again. :) I will compile for other ROMs if necessary.

Update 4/7/12-2: 0.8 Added OC up to 1704mhz, Under/Overvolt support, made some changes to error handling for wifi stack, tweaked default voltages, and some stuff I can't remember right now. For testing, 0.8 downloads are in green. CIFS, TUN, and NTFS are cooked in, you should not need to load modules. There is a download link provided below for people who want the modules anyways.Personally tested on all ROMs listed, haven't had time to try Frozn.

    Install with CWM or Rogue

You shouldn't need these, but I'll leave the link for old time's sake.

This is still beta. You must have balls to flash this(metaphorically speaking). Don't rip mine off if you have to reflash something else.

I had a couple requests for a donation link, so I'm posting one below. Feel free to buy me a beer if you want, but most of the work was done by the source code and people before me.

    Github is at: https://github.com/msticninja/asus_kernel_tf101

    Changelog:
    Code:
1.0-Veno Add TCP_VENO as default ipv4 Congestion Control Method
1.0 Change suspend code to be closer to guevor's. Hopefully fix reboots again. Add post_boot exec for ARHD.
0.9 Change clk_disable_locked code to be closer to Nvidia source. Hopefully fix reboots.
0.8 Add BFQ, Over/Undervolt support, wifi patches, OC to 1704, etc.
0.7 Rebased off Asus March 29th Kernel Source. SIO/Init.d is now included in all kernels.
0.6 Fixed Wifi on CNA SIO Version(still getting the hang of using git branches, sorry)
0.5 Add Init.d support to ramdisk
    0.4 Add SIO IO Scheduler
    0.3 Add EOS Version
    0.2 Add CNA/CM9/AOKP Version
0.1 Add OC and compile tweaks
    3
Adding on.. I'm on v1.7 of AOKP.

Fastest and most responsive kernel dev ever lol. Seems like you're here 24/7.

Heh, I got injured on a jobsite a few weeks ago, so I'm devving to keep myself from going crazy in traction.

I'm checking the issue now, I probably checked out the wrong branch on my git or something.

EDIT: yep, merged a branch accidentally, 15 minutes to recompile and we'll be golden.

    Compatible with cyanogenmod?

Depends. Try it. The worst thing will be that the wifi doesn't work. I'm working on the bcmdhd version for people with AOSP roms, that may use the same driver.

Could you up the voltage for 1504 frequency and 1600. I'm getting some minor instability for those steps, had it previously working fine at those steppings with blades Kernel. Just let the users have the option of undervolting the higher frequencies.

On another note I don't see any problems with the cna build been stable for several hours now, after lowering the stepping to 1408mhz.

I'll add 25mV tomorrow. With UV support comes OV support, so if 25mV isn't enough, you can up it more on your own.
