Hi I managed to get the SView screen background to a different one by a guide from vonerk. It works pretty well. You can answer calls but there is a glitch with the notifications. The background is generally for note 3 and I tried it with the S4 resolution too but its the same. Hope I can fix it later.

P.S : If you want your own specific background, just quote me and add the image. I will do that and post back for you.

Prerequisites:

1. A deodexed rooted android 4.4.2 phone
2. Any root access file manager

Instructions:

1. Download the file SViewCoverService.apk
2. Paste it in your internal SD or external SD (internal preferably).
3. Choose a root explorer and copy the file and paste it in /system/app.
4. Change the necessarypermissions.
5. Reboot.
I have also added a CWM flashable zip. Please flash and report back.

I need the original Sview apk file for I9500 4.4.2.
Somebody can upload it please...

But this file SViewCoverService.apk is for note3 the image is too large for s4 cover.

Thats wat mentioned in the OP. S4 and Note 3 share the same background file resolution but we have only a black background whereas note 3 has a colored background. Now we have a colored SView and I'm working on the DPI change. Hope everything goes well.

any news about changing the backgroung color of s-view like note 3 and s5 ?

i just wwant to change it like the s5 and note 3

btw ... i just made some changes to my s4 to like s5 and the s-view color window appered but i change it won't change ...here is some pics from my s4

    Aligned and all adapted to fit on S4 view cover, bigger hour and date font, changed some icons and putted right bck dimensions:

    Put Sview in system/app and give right permissions
