why is it not cool?
we could not take FAT ASS because we could not work out what it should stand for...

Yes. I did everything i could. Btw just installed android revolution hd and everything seems fine.

Too bad because i like slim bean rom because if the vanilla looks. Guess i have to wait for the next update of slimbean rom though.

I like slimbean because it feels light. Well im gonna check the roms you mentioned, but in the mean time im gonna stay with arhd for a moment.

What about battery life? It's possible to reach 2 days of usage/5 hours of screen time with normal use?

Did you try flashing another kernel.?
It helps on some hardware..

GPRS not working ...
This is somehow related to the MODEM you are using :p
Also something related to kernel..
Switch your kernel ? And change your modem .

It should be working properly...

Can you check the output of

lsmod

in terminal to check if cifs.ko is loaded... if its not present then load it with

Code: 
insmod /system/lib/modules/cifs.ko

PS: Use either terminal emulator or adb shell. Execute su if it says no permissions.

module is in directory =(

i extract cifs. ko from zip install rom now i have this issue

How can I get Netflix to work on this beauty? Other than that it is absolutely brilliant. Nice work guys :thumbup:


Update: all good, I used the framework installer and Netflix bypass fix and it seems to be up and running now. Amazing rom, so fast and smooth.

can you share the netflix fix?

i reinstall slim rom and cifs. ko not work.. full wipe everything and doesn't work...

i tried asylum room and it works... maybe is issue here no?

    So this is Slim Bean 4.2.1 OFFICIAL release. This is a new base as we have started from a completely clean slate AOSP source and included most of our features within.

    NEW BASE FULL WIPE RECOMMENDED!!!

    By downloading this ROM, you accept the fact that you understand that your device will not magically have more RAM or CPU power

    Also keep in mind that this is RC software features and performance will vary as we get closer to the stable releases.

    BUG REPORTING?
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

    Another Quality Release from SlimRoms... now at SlimBean 4.2.2 Build 3!


    Some thoughts to ponder upon:
    • Smart control in Gallery, is a S4 inspired feature that is for fun and maybe some bragging rights amongst your friends!
    • As you all know S/W HDR was all messed up... So we removed it for the time being. If you still need it badly, there is Play Store where everything is available ;)
