Anyone get the 4 buttons at the bottom to illuminate. I can't find anything other than SOKP Control>Buttons>Backlight>Illuminate buttons for 5 seconds is enabled. They never illuminate.

Download stweaks. They're turned off in the kernel by default. You can turn them on under the bln tab in stweaks

Got it now. Thanks. Never used Stweaks before. Only other weird thing I noticed is the wifi. Downloading apps from the play store start to download, then just stop and the downloader arrow just disappears. Then if I switch the radio from 5ghz to a 2.4Ghz channel it starts again. Not sure if the wifi is a little buggy or not. It also does this when I do a clean install and the phone starts to download everything automatically. Just stops for some reason.
Never had the Wi-Fi problem but that sounds router related. Try setting the band to auto
Well I thought the same thing and checked. My 2.4Ghz shows:
Wireless mode: Auto
Channel Bandwidth: 20/40 (no auto, 20, 40, are other options)
channel control: auto
My 5Ghz I specify some settings a little different because I have that optimized for a bridge to connect to.
My phone is set to Auto for band.
The best way to check is connect to a different router. I had Wi-Fi problems for weeks and searched and searched and read and posted and tried apps and changing settings and ended up being the router. Drove me nuts. I've got a thread in q&a to prove it too
Yes. With customizable timeout settings. It's in the op under "features"

I'm not currently running that r ROM. I think it's in developer options. That's where it usually is but it is in there. I used it myself
I am loving this rom but was just wondering if there is going to be further development on it. If so are there any links to later releases other than milestone 1?

Well today I did a complete wipe of my phone, including the internal SD card. After almost 3 years it was time to clean it up.
The only problem I had is after i did a complete wipe and booted back into this ROM is that nothing will come down automatically from the play store. It would also just hang if I went into the play store and tried doing an update all, which only showed 2 apps. I had to go in and clear data on the play store app and then I was able to download and install one by one.
I also had to do the same thing with contacts. Had to clear data on "contact storage". Was getting sync errors.
I am using the SOKP ultraslim Gapps V-1.zip that is provided in this thread.
