Don't have time rite now, had a test yesterday, today and another tomorrow....then i'll be free for some time

Thanks, I've reported this previously and I think you said it might be related to the NET scheduler.

Be great to get it working with torrent clients, this is by far the best performing Kernel for me but the torrents not working is a bummer.

If you need a logcat or anything after a crash let me know :good:

Hi Simone, I am using your kernel with Omega ROM, I think that it is very smooth and battery friendly. But I have just one question. Since I have an sdcard of 64GB exfat formatted, previously working with the stock kernel. Is there a possibily to continue to use it without change kernel or formatting it? For example a script that I can flash or other ... I don't wont to change kernel because your kernel is until now the best kernel that i tried ... thanks in advance for any answer to my question :)

You should read OP first, as i won't never support exFAT

I read it, but I hoped that was possible a different way, for example manually mounting the exFAT partition or an app to do it... anyway thanks for your great work and for the answer, the kernel is really very good :)

As seems that CM is making a lot of changes in the last days, and my time is very short, i still dunno if i should release something today or not...

Just FYI guys, from tomorrow to 28 Feb i will be in Barcelona, so i won't be able to update anything and/or make changes and/or give support....if i am lucky i will have an internet connection only in the evening.

So, if everyone is using the last CM10.1 nightly and wants the kernel, i will post a test version here very soon, anything extensively tested, but at least gives an idea of how will be the next version.

Cheers

Ok so here we go....

These version is 1.6.1b ----> WHICH MEANS BETA

LINK TO ALL VERSIONS: http://www.mediafire.com/?jce0b1g042jrb

These versions are mostly the final that will be released once i will be back from Barcelona.
A short summary of the changes, which will be extended:
- Linux 3.0.65
- Updated WiFi drivers for AOSP
- Updated mali drivers for AOSP

The AOSP versions DO ONLY WORK WITH NEW NIGHTLIES and derivates (means from 24 feb on, not on previous ones), or you will get a black screen only.

Please report back asap, even if they are tested (on CM10.1) i want to know how do you guys think of it.

Guys, i finally got back home, lemme update the whole kernel a bit in the next days and an update will be ready in a week ;)

Thanks again for waiting, you won't regret nothing :D
    28
Hi guys, has been several months since my last login into XDA, actually i had several problems in both my life and my family, had to close most of my hobbies just to concentrate on studying for university and work (i am still a developer, but now an app developer for some companies).

Anyway, i know everyone is angry about me not being here to answer all your questions about ETA, compatibility etc...but u have to understand that my private life is first and surely i'm not the only developer that had to "leave" one of his projects to continue other things that were falling behind, i hope you will understand...

It has been a great pleasure to develop one of the best kernels/products around here for the Note 2, and still this device is kindly supported, that's why i hope to finish most of my exams until september (half of the month...) and CONTINUE what i have left here to restart completely from scratch and at least add a last support for KitKat and everything that has been released until now, so you guys will be happy and will continue using my kernel as a daily driver for some months then.
I still have a lot of exams to do this summer and that just sucks, but as i wrote i will do a "last release" on september hopefully so everyone that also supported my buying my paid app will not regret the choice.

For now, stay in peace guys, cya soon! :D
    27
Well guys, you called it so much, and here it is!!

    Released new N.E.A.K. Note2 2.1x!

As always, check OP for infos, changelog and download links.
Also available via OTA Updater into uNEAK Engine!

An app update also is starting right now, and should be available in a couple of hours!!!

    Enjoy! :good::good:
