Stable release 3.0 - 07/02/2013
As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.

Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.

Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.

We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

    • A 4x3 weebo widget can be added in homescreen. It displays current location and recent actions taken by weebo. This list is updated whenever there is location change or any actions are performed by weebo.

    • Removed cell-Id display from recent events logs. Remove cell-Id entries from recent events list shown in weebo.
    • Changed location tracking time options from locations page. Put a "recommanded" text for 4 hours option and removed "5 minutes" tracking time.

The only thing is, I don't know why I would switch from my current rom, MIUI 2.11.14, for this. It just seems like MIUI with less of the options that you get with MIUI to me. There are no real MIUI themes here, you can't fully customize your themes (ie changing your lockscreen, icons, navbar, etc, to all be from different themes), you don't have MIUI Toolbox or ControlPanelSuite options, I just don't know. I'm not trying to be offensive or anything, just wondering how this would be better than regular MIUI.

Because this ROM is based on CM. We like MiUi as well and we love CM. What we are trying to do is bring the awesomeness of MiUi themes to CM.

You don't need to know why....if its not for you just move around.....thank you devs for another option to make our phones slick....and sorry for other peoples ignorance

i flashed this rom and got some errors, android has stopped working and then it said avatar has crashed. i didn't get a setup screen also, was i supposed to?
the way i flashed was: wipe factory/reset, wiped cache, wipe dalvik, wiped system, then flashed rom and flash the latest gapps 12122012 then wiped cache and dalvik again then rebooted. this is how i flash all the roms i use and haven't had a problem except this time. did i do something wrong in the flashing on this one?

You flashed the wrong gapps. The one you flashed is for 4.2.1 you need the ones for 4.1.2 dated 10/11/12 I believe

It wasn' ignorance, that's the thing. I was honestly curious as to why someone would prefer this ROM. I appreciate the actual Dev's response to my questions because it made sense and wasn't rude, unlike your comment. Telling me that I don't need to know why is ignorance. I'm allowed to ask questions if I have them, that's what it's all about, is it not? No need to apologize for my 'ignorance' when you're doing the exact same thing.

If u use miui then hopefully uve tried a cm10 ROM. Any cm ROM will fly compared to a miui ROM. Miui was never meant to be on our phones, every ROM uve used is a port. Cyanogen himself has cooked us some slick ROMs for this phone. But, honestly, to see Ur comment first thing after a dev spent so much time making us a ROM and a xhangelog and all that disappoints us all. Next time, think about saying thanks, I'll flash and let u know my findings. The rest of us understand cm10 is fast and know how this ROM could be great.

Can't access SD card

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the phone and I still cannot access my internal/external storage when connected to my computer. Anyone else get this?

I would love to try this rom but just installed few hardcore games and some insane account sync. But this is the rom I have been waiting for CM and miui in one..

    Stable release 3.0 - 07/02/2013
    As CM10.1 has hit the general release, Avatar Team is branching with stable and nightly releases.

    Stable releases are marked as 3.0. This is the first stable release from Avatar Team. Stable releases will be weekly or bi-weekly and will be tested extensively by our testing team.

    Nightly releases will kickstart in a few days. We will merge CM changes every day and it will also contain experimental features from Avatar.

    We highly recommend to wipe cache/data/dalvik before flashing the stable releases.

    The Avatar Team is proud to present the first beta release of weebo app. It is a Tasker like application which can automate tasks for your phone.

    The application comes with pre-defined set of 20 common rules but you can add your own rules in sdcard (/mnt/sdcard/weebo) and it will be automatically picked up by the application. To activate a rule, click on the corresponding rule (rule will get highlighted)

    The rules are simple XML files and you can find more info here.
