I am trying to overclock my SLOW SLOW Sprint htc touch (mp6900)
I am using a program called Omapclock to do this, but I am having a hard time.
Step guide
===============================================
1) Download OmapClock 0.2
2) Copy OmapClock.exe to PDA (e.g \Program Files\OmapClock)
3) Make a shortcut ("\Windows\Startup\OmapClock.lnk") to PDA by using tools like ToalCommander or GSFinder.
4) Edit the shortcut
File name : OmapClock.lnk (e.g OverClock Speed 180MHz)
--------------------------------------------------
30#"\Program Files\OmapClock\OmapClock.exe" -clock 180
--------------------------------------------------
(30 is just a example. Keep the original number.)
5) Copy OmapClockPlus.exe to PDA and run.
TotalCommander: http://ghisler.fileburst.com/ce/tcmdpocketarm.cab
OmapClock: http://www.meer.net/~dougt/random/OmapClock_0.2/
OmapClockPlus: http://1942.rocketspace.net/PQzII/Om...060803_004.zip
I have done everthing correctly, renamed the file Omapclock.exe to Omapclock.lnk with Total Commander, put it in the \Windows\StartUp\ folder. I made a folder on my device called \Program Files\OmapClock, put the OmapClockplus.exe in there, run it, and everything is working so far.
It seems that omapclockplus has found the omapclock.lnk so I can overclock, but when I try to change the clock from say 180mhz to 216mhz, I exit, check back at omapclockplus and found out that it is still on 180mhz and not 216mhz. How do I get it to keep it's clock?
Someone please help.
