Me too I was back to stock ROM because of the contacts, then I definitely chose the Gueste, I eliminated all unnecessary contacts (if I need it ,I load the old file. Vcf) and now are at 120, and goes a bit 'better.
But I have not given myself for loser, I tried to import contact.apk from the original ROM and insert it into the zip of the ROM Gueste, but nothing to do, does not work . Then I downloaded all the ROMs that exist for Lg 2X, and I have installed to see how the contacts was.
Only the Django Manouche and various modifications (example DjangoManoucheLGTransformer) have contatti.apk as the ROM stock, but even these do not work if replace them with those of the zip of the ROM Gueste.
There is anyone who can help me??

Do you think that a "manual" patch to v.3.3 is possibile to get the stock mount?

I'm thinking about change the system/etc/vold.fstab and the build.prop (ro.additionalmounts=...) manually to get it work like a stock.

Is this the key to get stock mount?

UPD: I've installed the universal mount patch for CM7. It works, now microSD mount as _ExternalSD (instead _ExternalSDCard like the gueste patch).
Negative effects (like other people reported): ALL photos are gone. Lost (I've a backup.. I've lost only the last 10 days of photos, not so much, not important).
So.. BE CAREFUL. If you want to use it.. do it. But BACKUP, the microSD too.
I don't know why, there is no apparent reason but this is what happen ;)
DON'T MIND. Sometimes I drink too much wine before writing :D:D:D
All the photos are in the sdCard. LOL.:D

Hi guys! With 3.3 release Are you able to save photos and videos on external sd card instead of internal memory?

The archive option in the stock app is unable to see the microsd, but the sd is mounted and it works normally!

Edit: actually I use internal sd as main and microsd as secondary storage (like stock, mapped as sdcard/_ExternalSD) thanks to the universal patch for cm7.
Manually bind (via terminal emulator) the _ExternalSDCard (folder choosed for gueste 3.2 mounting patch) folder to _ExternalSD give no result for the camera app.. It refuse to activate the archive option to choose the microSD.. any suggestion? In the 3.2 the camera app was able to choose on internal or external sd.. :-/

Can I flash this ROM directly on stock froyo or I have to upgrade to gingerbread....New to lg kindly help can all gingerbread sick based room or cm7 based ROM van be flashed thru cwm on stock froyo 2.2.2 ROM or I have to upgrade to gingerbread and ext4 format.....?

After I change another battery from the original one,
the battery meter keeps displaying the original percentage.
Sometimes I wipe the battery stat and then problem solved.
But sometimes I find this method is useless.

Could anyone solve this problem?
(Change kernel can solve?)

This ROM is a bit old now. I would suggest you to flash Django Manouche ROM available in the Developers section. It is a stock based ROM and has so many excellent themes done by different themers.
DJ 1.5RC1 is one of the best ROMs on the GB since Android made it.

Try it and you will see a huge difference

I like the customized notification bar from cm7 setting and also stock based apps! Therefore i choose gueste2x! But there is no more updates :(

    New optional replacement package available: Replace Stock LG apns-conf.xml with the original CM7 one if you suddenly have problems with your signal or data connection you didn't have on CM7 before​
    @all LG ICS theme users: The optional mounting-tweaks reset the selected theme to lg stock theme - open theme chooser app and select "Cyanbread". Then reboot. Done :)​

    Warning: EXT3 version + installation via some (not all) versions of touch recovery == permanent crash of Google Play store

    EXT4 version not affected as far as I know.

    • this is the same ROM as v3.8 but one last bit smoother and more energy efficient
    • The difference to normal v3.8 is: EXT3 file system (auto conversion, auto full wipe (!)), integrated LG ICS theme and a different edition of latest symbi0sis kernel (guestekrnL toolchain edition)
    • EXT3 file system has been described by many independent O2X users as more energy efficient than EXT4. LG Stock ROM for example comes with EXT3 as well. Also some say the phone feels a bit smoother under EXT3.

    Installation procedure:

        • now using Google SNAPPY compression for ZRam instead of LZO - should provide better performance. However CompCache uses LZO and in my opinion phone feels smoother when using CompCache. Just try both and compare, set the desired compressed RAM method in GuesteOC.
        • fixing "incompatibility" of symbi0sis with OC tools other than GuesteOC - now all tools recognize 216 MHz as lowest CPU freq instead of 389 -- possible problem: you maybe can't set min CPU freq to 389 MHz anymore in some OC tools, you would have to use 5xx instead.
        • fixing some smaller issues, like a touch LED bug
        • some changes in kernel configuration for provision of higher smoothness & battery (?)
        • some stability changes
      • All together

    Please try using CompCache too instead of ZRam - give CC a try and tell me if you like it better than ZRam. In my opinion the phone feels smoother than with ZRam, but more opinions ZRam <-> CompCache also on battery usage would be interesting.

    The packages will fix the Volume Keys and Search Button + Zoom button problem in both CameraHD and default CM7 Camera and additionally it allows you to switch between CM7 default Cam and CM7 modded HD Cam! (both Packages will delete the previous Stock and CM7 Cams and replace them).
    Zoom via Volume buttons for me is buggy in CamHD, so if it is for you too and you want it fixed, I recomment using the package with default CM7 Cam. :)

    Known Bugs / problems:
    • TrymHansen told me that the ported stock apps appear to be in English for Norwegian users. Unfortunately I didn't have time to fix this yet :/
    • If you start stock Camera, wait 2 seconds before closing it again to avoid reboots
    • the boot animation ends after 30 seconds. If boot takes longer, screen will be black, this is NO BSOD
    • if you don't see a clock on notification bar, you have to change the clock's color in Cyanogenmod Settings from black to White/Grey or any other color!

    No need to backup media files (pictures, video) before flash. Default version uses (inverted) CM7 mount, not LG Stock Mount.

    The LG ICS theme for Hybrid v3.8 has been fixed and re-uploaded by MMarkkk and now fits perfectly with the latest ROM :cool:
    From now on this nice additional theme can be used with v3.8!    ​

    Months of hybrid ROM development come to an end.

    When I started this ROM in January 2012 people were very enthusiastic about it and its new approach.
    In the early beginnings it was a bit unstable but that changed over time. Many stock LG apps seemed not to be portable to CM7, like LG Music or LG Email or LG Camera and have been ported by me afterall.
    Many nice and great users have posted and helped here and over @ handy-faq.de. Now I'm thinking I should have updated the ROM more often, but for a certain time my focus was on stock kernel development. However last month and this month some new versions have been released and version 3.6 from today is the version I'm finally completely happy with.
    Just try it out - there will always be bugs but to me it seems very stable, smooth and snappy. Clearly this ROM cannot satisfy or work for everyone, like no ROM can, but if it completely satisfies just a few people, then it was already worth developing it :)

    Thank you to you all (also and especially temasek), and now let's enjoy the ROM in its final version (for safety's sake backup JPG images on external SD first OR flash CM7 default mount tweak right after the ROM) and wait together for ICS :good: :cool:
