Did you try PowerAMP(I use this) or PlayerPro with DSP Plugin? It has better sound than Stock Music, Google Music, or anything that needs DSP Manager to mod sound output. Just my opinion...

Hi,
I'm currently using this setup with in-ear headphones:
- Player: PowerAMP (see screenshots for my setup)
- Effects: DSP Manager (or Awesome Beats) (again: see above screens for setup

I use these settings and audio quality is good. If you hear too much bass or high freq, just play with these values to find your perfect setup.

In the first screenshot of poweramp I didn't included all the equalizer because I'm using a default preset that you have to choose.
The profile name is shown on screenshot.

The headphones that I use are the CellularLine Mosquito.
IMO them has a great quality and a low price (I bought them for about 20€).
They also has a mic that works good while calling.

If you have any other question about my setup, just tell me :)
