How to reset xperia z1 totally (custom rom installed)

Hi I want to totally reinstall all the software and take the custom rom of my xperia z1. It has an unlocked boot loader.

Can I do this through PC companion?

If not, how would I do it? thanks

The easiest way is to use Flashtool. Just download an FTF of newest firmware and flash it using the software:


Once you are on a stock rom with stock kernel you can restore TA backup (if you have one), this will also relock your bootloader. It is best to restore TA on the same firmware that you did the backup.
