"ro.secure=0" and the one from above quote
Could I possibly just add these lines to the regular build.prop in /system or would that not make a difference I realy value your feedback

You could certainly try it, build.prop is supposed to be the secondary param setting mechanism. Just not sure if build.prop is allowed to set those kind of params. Give it a go and let me know.

This...

For all of you with wifi problems, are you running Task's AOKP?

Once I switched from ShoStockv2 to test AOKP, I also started having this issue. Connects then quickly disconnects.

I found that only some routers have this (specifically dual band routers). The router's did not have trouble connecting to on a different rom.

Just wanted to verify that you guys were on AOKP. I don't think it's the kernel's fault.

I'm running aokp and have an apple airport extreme and had to set it to 2.4ghz only and somehow it worked. I was having the same problem you have.

Is there any way to disable the prompt to boot the secondary ROM? I flipped through the settings really quickly and searched the thread but didn't see anything mentioned.

Dual boot didn't work here is my process:

I backed up mY current rom and cloned it to secondary then a full data wipe followed.by kernel cleaner then I flashed aokp 4/11 used.kernel cleaner once more and flashed siyah kernel did reboot .let phone boot.up played with some settings. Then put phone into recovery and went to dual boot option>check status it told me shostock v1.3 was my secondary I then rebooted pressed home it didn't work I then kept rebooting and pressed multiple buttons (search, menu, back, volume + -,and power) and none seem to work any ideas?

Looks like we may be skipping beta 2 and getting beta 3 since gk had another release to fix other issues. I'd post the link but we don't people flashing it and asking why buttons and calls don't work.

Hopefully gk has updated his source for b3.

I updated to 1b1 last night. So far no spontaneous reboots, Setcpu seems to work well. I haven't tried to see what the battery life will be yet.
Sooo... GREAT JOB.

Yes I wanted to give task650's Rom a shot and yes I have a dual band router but I'm back on CM9 now with no problems.

One question, I remember on the old Siyah (for GB) when you go into a install screen or backup/restore screen, the folowing confirmation screen would only have the actual commmand and not the additional blank lines like it does now (as does the standard CWM Recovery).

For example, right now you have to through these steps to install or backup etc.:
Screen 1: - install zip from sdcard
Screen 2: - choose zip from sdcard
Screen 3: - Siyah -v3.0.1-I777.zip
Screen 4: - No
- No
- No
- No
- No
- No
- No
- Yes - Install Siyah-v3.0.1-I777.zip
- No
- No
- No
- +++++Go Back+++++

and the previous version of Siyah didnt have all the " - NO"'s. Screen 4 would simply have "- Yes - Install Siyah-v3.0.1-I777.zip
". Just something I noticed and was wondering if that would be brought back or not.

Edit:
2nd question, by default, which profile is set with this kernel battery, performance or default?

    Dual-Boot instructions and Notes
If you want to have another ROM as secondary ROM, follow these steps:
1.Make a nandroid backup of your existing ROM
2.wipe everything and install the other ROM
3.Boot the ROM and make customizations. Don’t forget to reflash SiyahKernel if the ROM flashes another kernel.
4.Use CWM Touch Recovery to clone your rom as secondary rom.
    5.Restore nandroid backup
6.To boot from the secondary ROM, either press the HOME key or the VOLUME DOWN key when prompted.

    Some notes about dualbooting:
■If you do not make any cloning you won’t be prompted to boot the second ROM.
■you may need to reflash this kernel after a nandroid restore if your nandroid backup is created with another kernel.
■you won’t be able to use mass storage mode for /sdcard in second rom because we have our data and cache partitions on /sdcard. only external sdcard will be mounted if you are using mass_storage mode. mtp should work fine for sdcard.
■once again, you won’t be able to flash any CWM flashable zip to second ROM.
