SGS kernel flasher doesn't work with ICS, Cus of the partition Lay-out?Well, you weren't supposed to flash kernel's through ODIN as well... And they did it.

Sounds like a rom issue buddy

Dear stratosk,
I'm victim of a bug that I had hard time to nail down.
Whenever I make a call, if the following conditions are met, the phone hangs off by itself :
i) ROM = cm9 nightly patched with f4k memory hack
ii) kernel semaphore 1.1.1s
iii) phone call ongoing
iv) proximity sensor activated, eg. phone near the ear
v) phone rotates from portrait to landscape mode
--> the phone hangs off by itself
The problem does not happen with stock kernel or 1.1.1. And it seems not related to other parameters like oc, deep idle, governor...
You can find a logcat and dmsg at the following address.
https://www.box.com/shared/a53212dffbf18dfd6da3
The phone call was made and terminated around 11:02. I hope you'll be able to find the culprit. Please don't hesitate to ask me if you need additional info.
Thank you for your great work and kudos for becoming a recognized developer

Hi,
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce this issue (though I don't use CM9).
I couldn't find anything in the logs either. Anyone else can reproduce this?
Anyway, thanks for your detailed report.
Can't reproduce it here on slim 3.6, seems more like a dialer issue, ROM issue or modem issue

What difference enabling Radio FM module will make ? Will it really enable FM radio in CM9 ? If yes then which app should be used for this ?
Thank you for taking the time to try on slim. If I can't solve this I'll have to try this ROM !
Maybe it could be related to the patch and not the kernel ?
Anybody with cm9 willing to try and reproduce the bug ?
I'll try and further investigate this weekend and will report here if you don't mind.

And I have no more desire to build new versions. At least for now.
