An NVflash backup sounds great, if possible since it takes the ROM version out of the equation which is a problem with CWM or a Nandroid backup. Nandroid backups are frequently mentioned but nothing about a successful Nandroid restore that I've seen.

Now I trying to restore to the factory default with the files that you posted and all a get is a blank screen with the lights on.
I tryed with and without the 14.img file and the result is the same
Please help

Only people that can relock an unlocked device is Dell.... Afaik there is nothing out there you can flash yourself that will lock it.... So you gave your Streak to someone without writing down the imei and the service tag numbers?

Seriously tho, i picked up a Streak 7 bootlooping, and followed the guide. Now i seem to have joined a whole bunch of people with blank screens and only the soft buttons lighting up. No recovery or fastboot. Can anyone point us at possible solutions? I seem to have seen someone say its a case of mismatched bootloaders

Only thing left to do is try NVFlash

It was NVflash that got me in the blank screen situation. Any bootloaders to try out?

---------- Post added at 08:51 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:43 AM ----------

I downloaded p2-p14, flashed with NVFlash and, Viola! No boot out of APX mode. None of the button combos work, no fastboot, no recovery. Its an unbranded 3g version, so i wonder if there is a particular bootloader i need to flash, and where can i find it?

The bootloaders are identical for each submodel, the only differences are just the version number to point out that they're for that specific rom.

No... it was you doing something incorrectly that got you in this situation...

I find that rather hard to believe. I flashed this streak following the instructions exactly. I bet there are a few people who did that and now are in the same situation as i am.

So once that process (rawdevicewrite) completes, what are you doing next? Also what version of the Streak 7 do you have? This method is only meant to work on the T-Mobile US 4G version.
