I bored GB with theme ICS , i want TRUE ICS

Anddddd here testbuild for our X1

+ remove apps not need
+ little speed up system
+ camera work but preview windows is not (you will see black screen but capture image is normal)

Install :

Testbuild0 :
1 - full wipe: data + cache + dalvik cache
*optional : flash Recovery 5.5.0.4
2 - flash the ROM zip
3 - the first boot will take awhile

Testbuild1 (Testbuild 1.1) :
lk bootloader of Alex is partition: System 114mb , Data 320mb ,it not enough for ics full install so i asked my friend (knowledge linux) to compile lk with change partition : System 200mb , Data 234mb
So if you want flash this rom ,first you must reflash lk (200mb System) :

After flash lk, flash recovery again

1 - full wipe: data + cache + dalvik cache
2 - flash the ROM zip
3 - the first boot will take awhile

1) touchscreen need patch (fixed)
2) GSM (fixed)
3) screen rotate 180 (i mistake,not ro.sf.rotation that is ro.sf.hwrotation)
4) camera work (but preview windows is not )
5) Not Wifi
6) Not sound
7) Keypad need map

no, recovery for all ,i tested (backup,restore) with cm7

strange it just really doesn't work for me after flashing it via fastboot...
rom also doesn't boot...

Weird , i flashed recovery again and it work ok

But recovery not important, you can use old recovery to flash ICS_test rom

just for informing i can boot now into ics but flashing and corrupted screen... but i saw it ;-)

for recovery it's really weird cause your last version you posted in zargloub's thread was working flawless for me don't know what could be the problem...

hhmm with the kernel in zip i never got past your boot screen 'x1 forever' either i get stuck in there or in white lines during different driver inits or it reboots somewhere there

i tried a kernel i built from a combination of zargloub's and hackun's repo with this i got to the pin request but screen was corrupted and flashing between terminal lines and boot animation / ics pin request...

so far my experiences

It will load very slow in first time, if you want know what's android loading, use command "adb logcat"

P/S: i tried your keymaps, it not working ,maybe ics mapping difference gb or system not load

you are right .kcm.bin is now .kcm and in java code i will make the maps for you but give me some time it's a hell of work

one time i got a connection via adb and it rebooted after:

yes ,boot with no fail

When boot screen load ,you must wait a little ,after that type "adb logcat"

you can check partition system by commands "adb shell" after that "df -h system" ,it equal 200mb?

can i check it in fastboot or recovery somehow? cause i get no adb connection...
but your lk must be presented cause i had cyan text before and now green

This is just start unzip framework, if error happen, system will show error and loop , i don't know why your device is reboot

but the screen is nearly unreadable... touch worked also i looked a bit around in ics and after some time reboot to boot animation (no full reboot)
