From what i found CM9 allows to connect to EAP
Mine connects fine so I don't think I need that app or anything to get connected. I have also tried the 2.4ghz only setting and it doesn't prevent the problem. Thank you for the advice though.
Still I show no certificates installed but I doubt this has anything to do with it because as you said it wouldn't connect at all if that was the problem.

it seems that solution is to edit wpa_supplicant file

i managed to connect to network by setting manually the IP adress, instead of using DHCP
Is there anyone who's wifi on wpa2 enterprise protocol is working fine can post the wpa_supplicant file from system/bin folder?
