Hiya guys, first time poster long time follower here .___.
I know this might or might not be a common "noob" like question
for most of you but I wanted to know if anyone knows where and how
I could get a custom recovery for a T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE model?

I previously owned, rooted, and successfully flashed CWM Recovery on the
previous none-LTE Samsung Galaxy S3 (SGH-T999)...but while jumping
from one Rom to another I accidentally tried flashing an International
version of a rom and basically hard bricked that one T-T

Two weeks later I got the "second generation" of the S3 with LTE capabilities
you could say. But after successfully rooting it after months of doubt thinking I'd
fudge it up again, I came to a brick wall, CWM, Philz, and other major recovery teams
haven't made a version of their app compatible with this newer model of the S3

Maybe I've been away from the rooting and rom forums too long or I'm
a bit too ignorant, but could anyone tell me if it's possible to get a recovery
for my phone?

So will it be alright to use Rom Manager to try and install the d2tmo recovery using the app or must it be done manually using the PC version of ODIN?
Mobile Odin doesn't recognize this device either so no mobile flashing either...

I posted the info Chainfire needed to add support for the T999L soon after its release. Since all other T999 stuff works im pretty sure all hed have to do is allow it to use the same flash kernel. Kinda surprised he never added it.
You can try with an app, but it may block the install. If so youll have to flash in odin.

From what I've read on the ratings/posts on his Google Play Apps it appears Chainfire has been laying low lately. I don't know how true this might be or to what extent but I doubt I'll be getting legitimate support for this phone model any time soon.
As for trying to install the d2tmo recovery I'll have to download the package from the site and try using Flashify or another mobile flash app for now since I don't have my laptop on hand.
Thanks for your quick and very helpful replies DocHoliday77!
I'll post if it works for any other who has the same doubts, if not, bricked I guess lol
By the way, is your username a Generator Rex reference?

You do have another option. Download the recovery.img file, or extract it from a zip file. Open Terminal Emulator and enter this:

Code:
su

dd if=/path/to/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p18

Thats it! Just be careful you make no mistakes typing or it could brick your device!

Don't know if others ran into this but TWRP won't mount anything for me on the T999l - I ended up needing to resort to using CWM and clockwork works fine.

I apologize for the late reply.
I was able to flash the CWM Recovery using ROM Manager and selecting the d2tmo model. Heck, I was even able to install CM 11 (d2lte) thanks to that :) But that's off the topic.
Thanks for your help DocHoliday77!
