I have problem with install gapps.
Truncated when loading. Install says okay.

At u8110 after ROM install, it gives a random offset error, but it is installed somea way.

But the error I get is a bootlopp at miui splash screen :/

maybe you can test libcamera.so and libcm.so from cm9...

ok for more speed in develop menu i use this:
2d for app
close all animation
limit of app is 2
and speed is good for me
i install on 8120 and its so good.
I cant change lockscreen and dieler screen.
Standart ICS screen is low for 8120
how to change to ginger screens (lockscreen and many more?)

maybe you can test libcamera.so and libcm.so from cm9...

Libcamera and libcm are not just problem that can fix the camera..
need recompile and layer over gb camera that take alot of time and i have no device even to test

Please do read properly this is an CM9 Miuiv4 and there's no way it will work for the CM9 using any GB Camera stuff @@ and that is for Miui Gingerbread

fyi, no nets wifi or mobile.

Update: after I went out today and walked around the city, now I have mobile network, strange, but maybe travelling between mobile cells did something.
Quite likely problem was ATT and not the ROM.
Still no Wifi.

Zack (& others) thanks for all you do.

u8150, has the cheaper of the 2 touchscreens.

installed ROM per instructions (clearing caches, formatting, etc)
The flashy icons and screen during transitions is fixed by adding a background image.

WIFI connectivity is not working for me.
The phone sees all Wifi access points, but does not connect.
I have WPA2, but I even temporarily dropped to WEP to try.

Also not complaining, but notice compared to previous ROM, slower response when pressing the hard-button to wake phone. This is not a problem, just observation.

Tried to get adb logcat to Zackconsole but adb (just updated) not seeing device.
So best I could do is MIUI user feedback w/ debug info.

This looks very promising, will keep up w/ it.

phone works well as phone.

Hoping a fix on upcoming V2.4.20 Sorry as i have no device to do any testing...or even logging adb for fixing bugs and other's so don't complain if not working
Cause i might stop this build if device fixing cost are too expensive

found possible cause for WLAN

I already dropped back to IDEOS-HD for daily use so I won't be testing, but found this which probably explains my WLAN issues. MAC address will change on flash and for those of us with MAC filters, this would cause the problem.

Of course in my opinion it is Fundamentally Stupid Beyond Belief that MACs are soft by default on Android.

Just few notes about this latest Beta:

- Seems "heavier" than the former Beta (whatever disabling all the **** possible..)

- SD-CARD won't mount even with Dual Mount SD (on your former Beta worked with Dual Mount SD)

- Bluetooth data transfer works but audio doesn't: phone detects audio devices and pairs with them, but doesn't broadcast any sound.

Any clue/suggestions?
