Hi guys I'm trying to make my 2nd ViperDNA System UI theme using the kitchen and I'm stuck at recompiling the apk (apktool b statusbar_theme NEW.apk).

Where in the world do I start, I didn't have these issues before. I'm pretty good at finding the issue when command prompt gives one but I guess not in this case. Thanks for any help!

Delete all the drawables from public.xml and apktool will rebuild that file with only the images you have in the apk

Just the ones you don't have pngs for ... Also you could unzip a fresh copy of the apk and put the ones it is throwing exception for back in your drawable xxhdpi folder

ran into a problem. Themers, how can I get the signal types (1x,3g,4g,lte) to be the custom ones. 4g seems to work fine but like 3g and 1x dont want to stay (should be blue not white), any ideas? pic attached also kinda a sneak peek

Actually nix that ... Mine does the same thing .. must be a theme issue ... You know how to make a flash able zip with a modded SystemUI?

Unfortunately no i don't, Maybe Nits knows or another dev knows how.
I have everything but the signal types and vertical QS icons ready to go, those should be done tomorrow. Can't wait to get this up on the HUB!!

Here's a flashable systemui.. leave everything where it is just unzip the zip then go in and unzip systemui and drop in your images then rezip and name SystemUI.apk (caps matter and if using windows make sure the .zip extension isn't hidden otherwise it will be named SystemUI.apk.zip and you'll never see the .zip) then rezip the folders again and you'll have a zip with your systemui in it ..

If I lost you there just unzip all this mod the systemui and send it back across and I'll make it flashable ... Down side is that it doesn't work with the apk that way and it requires updating as the ROM changes .. maybe nits can help us nail down how to make the 3g overlays work?

Actually nix that ... Mine does the same thing .. must be a theme issue ... You know how to make a flash able zip with a modded SystemUI?

ill look into the theme apks for 1.2.0, could be how i set up the apk itself or issues with how i ported int the theming code to the systemUI

if you look in the theme apks under /drawable you ll see the xmls for how signal/battery/data icons should be set up....i coulda screwed some up

Since I have no idea how to see if something got screwed up it be of no having me look through the xml files :( I'm good at following directions though! :p haha thanks for yalls support throughout this, I hope the signal type issue can get fixed so all themers can benefit!
