We don't leave this project with ajeet. We are working now on 3g mobile data, but still not luck. if we have any progress - we upload new image

i am waiting the new android rom

if it done with 3g (gsm ) and wifi
90% i will buy an lg fathrom
ammmm i like a wm + i like to test a android.. so i think a fathrom is better than buy a android device

finally i have an q. is a lg fathrom have a sensor's to play some games :D

Just don't hold your breath man, I've tried it and am not impressed with the fathom at ALL, because of the fathom community being so small theres not much of a demand for development of other os's for it! I'm ditching it ASAP and getting an HD2 (One that works, or a motherboard to fix the one I already have), it's the most hackable customizable windows mobile phone around to date. You can fully flash it to android or windows phone mango or dual boot winmo and android and everything. It's gunna be weird dropping a keyboard but I find myself using the onscreen keyboard a lot more than usually and with the huge HD2 screen it'll be a sinch to get use to.

I agree. Just on a whim I decided to search to see if anyone had accomplished this, as there were talks of this earlier. Unfortunately, November of 2010 I dropped the phone in favor of the Samsung Epic (just bought one in Jan for $75 bad esn for my old man) and ported it to Verizon with little difficulty. The Fathom was amazingly spec'd in the beginning (except for the camera and ram), but with the Epic being so cheap I have no reason to boot the fathom up again.

Thanks for the effort OP, but I don't think many people are still using this phone.

Android for LG Fathom; but WinMo 6.5 working great!

Hello All...just my two cents...

First, thanks to those spending time developing the Android ROM!

I would LOVE to get Android working on this phone.
I've read the couple of negative comments about this phone - the Fathom - but I have been using it for awhile and L-O-V-E IT.
It's fast and small and has a good keyboard, etc...Personally I don't need a bigger screen to watch movies or whatever...I mean, really?

Anyway, I use it on T-Mobile (GSM) in the U.S. and my wife has the same phone on Verizon (CDMA) and both work great with all the functions and features enabled.

I have DATA and GPS working perfectly...BUT there a couple of APPS that, unfortunately, are not available for WinMo since the "legacy" version (6.5.x pro) has been pretty much dropped by developers and there is no "app store"!

PLEASE keep developing the Android ROM. I am willing to help test!
Definitely want GPS, Wi-Fi and as many features of this great phone WORKING as possible.

Waze GPS is available for WinMo and it's completely free.

lg Fathom

I used all build made by ajeet and www and tested on it.
Is very fast due to 1 ghz.
There is only one problem and that is working calls and message with 3g data connection for internet.
I am waiting a stable build from you
as per www 3g is working but no incoming calls and msz.
Please upload ajeet and www a new working build
waiting for new build
i think willing also help to solve this problem becoz he build many rom.

    Extract above tar.gz in / and then
    Download CodeSourcy Compiler from here

    Install above C compiler then issue following command in source directory extracted above

    make ARCH=arm tsunagi_defconfig
    make -j16 ARCH=arm CROSS_COMPILE=/arm-2011.03/bin/arm-none-eabi- zImage

    When this steps complete you will get zImage in arch/arm/boot folder



    New Image Android 2.2.1 with Audio , WiFi + AP mode , Bluetooth

    Just extract above file to \Storage Card and go to \Stroage Card\2.2 click on CLRCAD (4-5 times) and then click on Haret

    (In this version there is no need to copy nvram.txt to \Storage Card)

    For wifi it is must to copy \windows\nvram.txt to \Storage Card
    if it is difficult to copy from windows folder use attached one

    [Note : In this version i have disabled fb console so you will not see any text while booting so wait at least wait 5 min if none appears do soft reboot and then retry]

    I have worked on Toshiba kernel and ported that kernel for LG fathom.

    As of Now following Works
    GSM (Partially)
    Battery
    TouchScreen
    3D
    Audio (only through front speaker)
    Keypad (Need some work with Fn key)
    Battery
    USB (start haret while usb connected)
    USB Mass Storage and ADB
    wifi

    Not working
    Bluetooth
    Vibrator

    Issue( Solved now)
    1) Screen will flicker when USB cable was removed. workaround is to set any live wallpaper.

    How to run

    extract files on Storage card
    goto /Storage Card/tg01
    click 4-5 times on clrcad
    and then run haret-pre-0.5.3-20100625_144828-QSD8250-ONLY.exe

    for wifi extract following file and put replace zImage with this one and copy bcm4329.ko to /system/lib/modules also copy \windows\nvram.txt to \Storage Card

    so some sort of good news from my side is 3g is working fully now and also 3d sensor is working, Yes i am able to play games based on gravity sensor:) .

    I am now fixing tethering then i will upload new image mean while keep donating .

    This is only for fathom and may not work with expo.
