Using this will unlock your bootloader with spoofed IMEI SN and MB, means your REAL IMEI SN and MB will not be submitted to HTCDEV.

HOWEVER...untill we find a way to s-off this device.. or a way to change the *** RELOCK *** label to *** LOCK ***.
after the unlock, if you want to lock your bootloader again, it will say *** RELOCK *** ....not *** LOCK ***.!

EDITED: since many users reported the unlock_code.bin I provided won't work with their phone, therefore I'm taking them out...
user now need to go grab a unlock token from htcdev.com themselves, and place in the script folder.(it will tell you WHEN in the middle of the script)



Read the README.txt in the zip first, the script is pretty much self-explanatory.

Good luck and have fun with your unlock phones!

V1.2
- script remade
- the unlock_code.bin is a manual process now, requires user to register on HTCDEV
- Linux/Mac only ATM
- The script will check if the backup partition folder exists or not (SAFE NOW!)

V1.1
- replaced the old ATT unlock token with new one tested! (thanks to fl5 and jrior001)
- Added the Telstra's unlock token (thanks to damthi)
- "Unlock_code.bin" in the directory is default to AT&T

V1.0
- Unlock without HTCDEV!
- Support only AT&T and Rogers due to the shortage of unlock tokens.

niceppl, Do we still need to manually push back all of our imei numbers that's put in the separate folder or does it automatically get pushed back? Doesnt look like im getting a SGS3 anytime soon so im finally going to root this thing after i update from 1.73 that it still has on it. :)

no you dont need to do it manually...this script will back up your partitions first and flash the fake ones which are needed for the unlock process. after unlock is done your partitions with all your info （imei..sn...mb.）will be flashed back...

Great work - thanks for this.

I downloaded the windows zip file and it doesn't contain the Telstra token.
The ones listed are unlock_code.bin, unlock_code_att.bin and unlock_code_rogers.bin

windows version, getting unlock_code error. Got same error with the default code and the supposed ATT code.

Rebooting to bootloader ...
If you see FASTBOOT USE in red
Press any key to continue . . .
sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)... OKAY
writing 'unlocktoken'... FAILED (remote: unlock token check failed)
Follow the instructions on your phone to unlock, if yes the phone will reboot
After reboot back to the system, flash any inital steps if you need
Press any key to continue . . .


oh and I had to remove all the CLS commands from the BAT file to figure out what was going on ...

are you sure you are using the att unlock token?
rename the Unlock_code_ATT.bin to Unlock_code.bin

and try again?

edit: should that say sending 'unlocktoken' (0 KB)... OKAY

windows say 1kb??

I'm getting this same problem. Currently walking through the steps manually trying to see where it steps off.

Same driver I did the one click root/ superCid / and htcdev unlock on my last phone....just got insurance replacement after shattered screen episode

Already did root and supercid on this one

    when you are at fastboot usb mode
    can you manually run:
    fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin

    and try the unlock code from this

    Done & attached. Note, this is for my AT&T device. Yes, it unlocked once I got this token from the htcdev site with the spoofed partitions flashed.
