ok guys im running 3.6 love the rom been using it for a few builds now, cant updaye to latest as i have no broadand, anyway im using stock calender that the op posted but i seem to have days missing in the callender anyone else noticed this? Added a picture my sisters birthday is on march 31st as u can see comes up in events but the box for the day is almost hidden.

Apex is my fave, but there is no reason why you can't have both in. Use Apex 1.0.5 though!
If you have both, when you press the home key it will ask you which launcher do you want (Apex, Nova, Trebuchet .. which ever you have installed) tick the box make this my default launcher and select.. you can always change to a different default launcher in the launchers settings for nova and apex.

Having both Apex and Nova should keep everyone happy .. :D

Keepin multiple launchers increases rom size and run in background eatin up ram so its advisable to keep everyting short and sweet

If u use gb stuff on ics there will always be performance problems

Well, I tried Apex launcher...slower than go and a hell of a lot harder to customise in the way I want ....so binned it and went back to what suits me best. I can live with the performance problems as I did'nt see any! LOL

Folks, use what YOU like best, don't be swayed by subjective claims of increased, faster, smoother, whatever etc etc etc.. remember you want it to be a pleasure using your phone so try them all and judge for yourself :)

P.S. I read somewhere that Fords are more reliable than Ferrari's ;)

P.P.S So I ask the master Alchemist to just include the stock launcher and let each individual decide and install what they want.

I have a death situation. So, V3.8 will be postponed for couple of days

So, I made a poll for three days. After that, I will take the launcher that has the largest number of votes and I will use it for all of my next builds.

I don't want to have this discuss every now and then

So, pls make ur choice

hello guys, I noticed that battery live is not improving on my phone using this rom because it has no deep sleep.Any way to fix this? Could be the kernel? A recomandation pls? It's the first time it happenes 4 me. Should I flash LP3 root?Thank you!

Battery life fr me is great i think extweaks it is a free app on market can help u in this it is compatible with siyah

Did you do a fresh install, wiping data etc?

I have no deep sleep issues at all.

As for the launcher debate, personally I use Apex. I've used many launchers since using Android including Launcher Pro Plus, ADW, ADW EX, Go Launcher, Nova and some others, I'm still using Apex because I like it. As others have said I'm not bothered what launcher the ROM comes with because if it's Nova I'll just use Titanium to uninstall and convert the market download of Apex to a system app.

Althebyani, are you considering the 15 toggle as standard? If you do could you please provide a CWM zip to remove it please, I'm not a fan!

Looking forward to 3.8 but take your time mate, some things are more important!!

    Instructions for XXLSJ Release:

    - Download the zip file (Thebyani_V2.0_JB_part1.zip and Thebyani_V2.0_JB_part2.zip) and put them in your SDcard.
    - Boot into recovery mod.
    - Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, Battery Stats and data/factory.
    - Install zip from sdcard and choose the file named (Thebyani_V2.0_JB_part1.zip) and flash it.
    - Reboot your phone and when it boots, go to recovery again
    - Install zip from sdcard and choose the file named (Thebyani_V2.0_JB_part2.zip) and flash it.
    - Reboot and Enjoy

    Read FAQ




    1- For people facing Battery Drain:-

    Code: 
    1- Go to the following folders and delete them:

- /sdcard/android/dcim/100andro
- /sdcard/lost.dir
- /sdcard/android/data/com.android.providers.media
- /sdcard/android/data/com.cooliris.media
- /sdcard/android/data/com.google.android.gallery3d
- /sdcard/androidthemes
- /sdcard/android/dcim/.thumbnails


2- After that, reboot into recovery, then go and wipe battery stats. Then, reboot and let the phone syncs then reboot again.

3- If u r using Siyah kernel (BE CAREFUL: this is only for Siyah), then install Extweaks app from market and do the following:

Go to MISC> RESET FUEL-GAUGE CHIP and press on RESET FUEL-GAUGE CHIP

After that give it will show u funny values give it few hours and it will be fine.

    Hi guys

    sorry for not replying for ur queations but I'm so busy

    I know there are some bugs but I need u to understand that

    Beta 1 / Beta 2 / Beta 3 / Beta what ever this means I'm working on it and every time I change some thing and release the rom and see ur feed back and I know what's wrong and go back and try to fix

    I'm not ignoring ur posts at all but I'm just reading without replying to see ur issues and look for them (If they were reasonable)

    Guys Thebyani V2.1 JB is up. See main page of this thread for more information


    If u are on V2.0 then just wipe chache and Dalvik cache then flash V2.1 because it is just an update. Otherwise, see the note in red color on change log section of main page of this thread.



    Hope u like the update and I'm sorry for taking so long but I found that V2.0 was very perfect and I tested it for months and it works like a charm. Hope u find it the same way I did.

    Guys u need to understand that in jelly bean we have a major issue with the memory and it is the reason beyond the slowness of your phones sometimes when the memory gets full.

    I'm trying my best now to give u a better and less buggy rom (Remember it is BETA)


    I hope that I can deliver a better rom in Beta 5 (As soon as I can)
