why is everyone so dickhungry to have 1.4ghz?
1.2ghz is running smooth and giving excellent battery life.

With 1.2 it's pretty darn fast I dunk whyeveryone wants 1.4

Because we don't have kernel sources and we can't change it without them
By the way, I'm working on a small update that will hopefully fix some minor bugs and bring proper rooting.
So do you think we just need to apply a fix to correct root?

I think that we will see much more happening after Barcelona event. Im just waiting until Smartphone makers will start selling the phones without a Hardcoded OS. Where you will be able to choose freely.
And one can also see where Google wants this going. Make these Smartphones our primary devices where a PC will be just obsolete...

running this for a few hours...seems stable no fc
bugs i found
1)if u type a name in the dialer it will not find the contact...??
2)Every app that i install from the market its app icon comes on the homescreen?? hav to manually remove it..not a big error though...

I think both of the 'bugs' is normal behaivor in aosp. There is no 'T9'
It was like that on my Glalaxy Nexus as well.

Failed to install.
i was on Chainfire's RE-PACKED ICS Chinese
Steps i did.
1. Copied asop file to Internal SD Card
2. Booted in CWM Recovery
3. Install from SD Card (Internal SD Card i choose)
Got stuck in "Kernel"
4. Force restart and tried again , same again
5. Tried Nandroid Restore , it got stuck in "Restoring System" (waited for 20 Mins)
6. tried flashing CM9 / Midnight 4.0.3 No hopes. Some error was showing.
Finally Used PC Odin and flashed Stock GB and now back to GB...

I really don't like TouchWiz at all, so, when the first ICS sources became available, I started porting AOSP to our device.
There are still some major and many minor bugs, but ROM seems to be stable and usable.
Please look for buglist below, so you can decide, do you need to flash it or not.
I'll try to fix those bugs as soon as possible, so please, don't ask when something will be fixed, I really don't know
Description: This is clean and clear ICS (4.0.3) without any modifications. This is not CM, just AOSP. It may be used with tablet or with phone UI.
(Capacitive buttons are already removed, if you want them - download package below)

- MINOR: First SMS Message is reported as not sent. It is NOT TRUE - first message sends correctly. This is just some false report.

Please report any other bugs you'll find.

Installation:
1.
a) if you're on any other build: flash Chainfire ICS repack (http://www.mirorii.com/fichier/3/501208/I9220LP1-N7000-ICS-REPACK-tar.html) using mobile odin
b) if you're on previous imilka AOSP: do nothing
2. Upload aospgnXX.zip into your sdcard
3. Reboot into recovery
4. Flash aospgnXX.zip
5.
a) if you was on AOSP ICS previous versions and want to keep your data: do nothing
b) if you was on any other build: wipe data using CWM recovery
6. Reboot and wait
If you're stuck at bootanimation on first boot, reboot your device by holding power button

Unfortunately, bug with stock mass storage mounting only internal partition remains.
I decided not to change it because I'm working on MTP and it's nearly fixed.
Please note - I've rebuilt nearly everything from stock, so there may be some hidden bugs I haven't noticed - report them please.
Ah, and the last thing - All additional archives such as tabletenable, and other AREN'T compatible with v07!
I'll make correct zips for tablet, capacitive buttons, etc soon.
Full wipe recommended.
