Hi guys, this thread is very interesting so I decide to tell about my situation hoping someone can help me find the truth.

I'm with a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini LDU (SM-G800X). I've flashed an official Firmware of the Exynos Version (800F) got from Sammobile, for remove Retail Mode.
So far so good.
After flashing, something strange happen: on Status Menu the phone shows an IMEI! This is very strange cause all the LDU I've managed in my life (S4, S5 Note3, Note4, and some tablet) no one has an IMEI (obviously).
So, I decided to go through this and try to put a SIM card. Before put a SIM card, I've flshed TWRP for Exynos Version, got a FULL WIPE (System,Dalvik,Cache and Data) and reflashed the official Firwmare.
Now the phone is fully clean like a new one and ready for try SIM card.

I've tried tu put the SIM but no signal is reached. My story is very similar to the @gmedrano84 one. All he said is similar to my story, but the difference is that I have an IMEI so I don't know why this LDU canno't work.
Also on the Boot Screen, the sign "Live Demo Unit" is gone after flashing an official firmware (on my S5 LDU this not happened). The phone on first boot also checked for new OTA upgrades (LDU normally do not do that!).

So I ask you @vndnguyen to help me find the truth on this story. I wanna know if there is a chance to get this phone FULLY Working!

Thank you guys in advance!! :good:

EDIT: To help you I've attached here some screenshot from your PHONE Info app and from the ServiceMode. Hope this can help!

Your device has the Modem Board (SS222), so it has the Baseband and also the IMEI accordingly.

I don't promise that I can help you to find the truth, but can you provide some more info:

1- Please send me the screenshot of CSC INFO section in the Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app.
2- If possible, send me (or PM me) also the picture of the Back Sticker of the phone (behind the battery).
3- What secret codes did you use to open 3 above ServiceMode menu?
4- Can you show a screenshot of *#0011#?

Hi man, thank you for your help!
This is the other picture you ask me to send.
Rear battery Label I'll send you in PM.
About Service Mode, the 3 pictures I've posted are the result of +#0011# Code you suggest. It is strange cause they appear by itself, changing sometimes.
The command "Back>Enter Key Input>Q0 ecc... does not work for me.

Why it changes time by time like that with the same code *#0011#?

The command "Back>Enter Key Input>Q0 ecc... does not work for me.
I see your Knox is already 0x1. Can you root the device to be able to launch the DEBUG SCREEN using Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Secret Codes' > 27663368378.

You will need it to find out why the phone cannot register to the network.

P.S: And don't forget to make sure your SIM card is good? (by putting it into another phone).

I'm not familiar with S5 Mini service menu, as I'm using Note 3.

But you can try to search for the NAS INFORMATION > MM INFORMATION, and MM REJECT CAUSE. Capture these 2 screenshots to see what happens?

If you cannot find these menu that I've mentioned, show me the sub-menu under the Service Main Menu, I will try to tell you.
